Turn it around!
Unflattering around the mid-section until I got a tip from a friend: it's possible to wear these dresses backwards for a smoother look. The label doesn't show and the ruching looks like a back detail. Liked it much better that way, but it still wasn't me. Pattern is like art but honestly might look better on a wall.

tight, rumpled
Wanted to love this but couldn't wear. Definitely don't risk sizing down if you have a large chest. Was also looking for something for travel and this is a big rumpled mass of cottony fabric you wouldn't want to wrangle.

Cute and unique
So cute. Boxiness not great for me, but I still loved it. The colors are pretty distinctive and not that easy to match if you skip the pants. Too thick for summer, unfortunately. Would keep longer if it worked in the heat.

Very cute but it became too hot to wear this. It's cottony but too thick for summer. The paisleys are a beautiful periwinkle shade, but didn't look right next to navy.

Decent bag, odd color
Leather straps are a beautiful color. The fabric is ok, but the color is reminiscent of burlap. I couldn't get the image of a sandbag out of my head. Liked carrying it otherwise, and it fit quite a lot. A bit wrinkly and easily marked, so the bag ends up looking less dressy than the straps.

Love the fabric and colors. Very well made and lined. However, this must be one of the worst possible cuts for a shortwaisted 5'4" person. Like a rectangular garbage bag cinched and puffed out at the sides? There was extra fabric drooping all around and under the chest area and arms. Too hot out to cover it with a jacket. Disaster. Go away and never come back.

all just too much
Waist was comfortable but I had to hike them up as far as they would go as the pants were too long. Not a good look. Folding up the cuffs didn't work either, so I just didn't wear them out. Pattern is great though, and the jacket is more useable for me.

Love this design
Wore these all the time. Love the way they fit and the unusual drawstring and zipper pulls. Length perfect for me. I thought they might be good hot weather pants, but the fabric is sturdy and holds in heat. Love the subtle blue shades.

It's true that it really feels a bit like a gym bag. Prefer the other market tote styles because of that. But it's light and pretty strong and the apple detail is cute. Just found that I wanted something dressier most days.

silky caramel blouse
Heavy, silky fabric. Sized up and it fit my chest with a little room, which I didn't expect. This style is not flattering on me so I mostly wore it under a trench coat. Love the pattern but I can't imagine wearing the set, it would overwhelm me. The color is more caramel than chocolate and would be hard to pair with some brown items.

Excellent dress as long as it's cold out. It's slightly ribbed down to the waist, which doesn't show in the photos. I don't think it's cotton as it says in the description. Very nice under a jacket, but unfortunately the skirt was looking a bit rumpled. Didn't totally love it, but at least it arrived in time and I had something to wear.

Beautiful, just couldn't button or zip. Loved the sleeves--better for warm weather. Pattern is not the most exciting on this one, but it does have fine butter-yellow and powder-blue lines in it.

Absolutely gorgeous, thick cashmere. One of the best sweaters I've ever rented. Very, very warm--too warm under a coat if you end up inside with both on. Loved the neckline and buttons--can be buttoned up into a loose turtleneck in a freezing wind. Hope to meet this one again.

A compliment record
Took a chance on this even though I don't often like boxy, cropped jackets. Turns out the fit was much better than expected. A touch softer and longer, and no tightness on the chest--plenty of room, actually. I have never gotten more compliments on a jacket from strangers in a single day. People would not shut up! They raved about the stitching--though it is less shiny/noticeable than in the pictures. Then it made me feel smashing at a nerve-racking event. Utterly surprised, and now I have to admit that this is one of my favorite rentals. Functional pockets. Wish I could wear it longer but the wool will soon be too warm.

Almost too bulky in the sleeves to be comfortable under a coat. Better for spring or fall, except that it is almost overly warm. Nice colors but I forgot how much I hate cropped things. Wouldn't have worn except the texture is so cute. Oh well.

Warm colors
Colors skew toward rust/mustardy rather than chocolate brown. Pattern was a bit big and loud, but liked it well enough. Loose fit. Might have looked a bit sloppy if I'd ended up wearing to the office untucked, but it was too cold to wear anyway. Decent for Zoom.

Sizing down was perfect. Sleeves are big but cuffs roll up to show pink underside. Liked it with gray jeans, combat boots, silver jewelry. Punkish but I suppose ostensibly ugly. Got compliments.

Beautiful bubbly satiny gray jacket. Filling is not particularly warm so I couldn't wear it for long. Must be a fashion price, not a materials price. Sized up, which was good, as it is a close fit over the chest. Pockets are decent, slightly small for phone (why isn't this standardized yet?). Sleeves are very long but can be rolled up.

Easy fit, on the long side. I thought this was black and red but it is very much blue and red. Bottom hem may roll up and show pale reverse side, so best if you're able to tuck it in. Wasn't able to match the purplish-blue with much at the moment. Design is just playing cards without other overt gambling references.
