I rented this to attend the formal Navy birthday ball. I typically wear a size 6 and the size 6 fit great. Material does have some stretch to it which I liked. Loved the neckline and the small cut out in the back. The only thing I didn't really care for with this dress was the rouching in the front. You can not really see it that well on the model. I felt like in some of the pictures we took that the dress looked like it needed to be pulled down (like it was wrinkling up). But very small issue, everyone else that saw it loved that detail. I am 5'6" and I got the regular length. I am not a fan of big heels so with 3 inch heels the regular still fell at the floor.

I rented this dress for my husband's semi formal holiday party. Loved the color. The picture on the site is a good estimate of the color in person. Length was perfect for our event. I am 5'6 and it hit me right above the knee. I loved the one shoulder element. I do agree with other people who reviewed the dress that the rouching on the dress in the midsection does not really add anything to the dress. I dont feel like it made me look big through the middle but I did end up wearing the 4 instead of the 6 because the rouching on the 6 was very droopy. It definitely did not lay as flat to the body as in the picture. I would not rent the dress again just for that alone. I paired with black paton leather heels and black accent jewelry.

I wore this dress to my husband's work holiday party. Dress was true to size. Dress was a little on the short side with regards to length but I paired it with dark hose and it was okay. Exposed zipper was not an issue for me. I thought it added a little edge to the dress. Great dress overall! Would definitely rent again!
