I was unable to actually wear the dress as it arrived a day late but RTR Customer Service is beyond compare! I did try it on though. I typically wear an 6/8 or medium in dresses and in this I tried on the XS. The print is fun and cute. It is definitely a grey background and the flowers are a deep red/orange with the centers being almost royal purple. I'm 5'1 and the sleeves hit right at my wrist. The back is just as shown but this was a "bend at the knees" for sure as it was really short. The fabric is light and flowy. It does cinch in the back but that doesn't really help to make it waist defining. I didn't have a chance to see if a belt would help with that issue or not. It would be great for a bump friendly type dress, but again keep in mind that at 5'1 it was almost too short on me.

This was actually my second choice dress, but the first didn't fit. At first I was disappointed but after I tried it on; I'm glad that my first choice didn't fit. Let me start with the fit. I ordered the 6 with the 4 as my backup. I could have worn either. Typically I wear an 8 in off the rack type dresses so I was thrilled that 4 fit so well. :D I am 5'1 and this dress is very long. I wore 5 inch heels and just as in the photos RTR provided it still skimmed the floor. The sheath underneath is short; but the sheer fabric allows you modesty. Now for the stuff some of you may be wondering about the fit that I did. I won't lie. I'm 42 and I'm a 34B. I weigh about 132. I have had two children and don't work out like I should, so (sigh) I have a bit of a tummy. Nothing huge mind you but something form fitting wouldn't look right. This dress is absolutely perfect if you have a similar body type as it hides those types of imperfections. It is attention getting when walking across a room. Picture a model walking the runway with a fan blowing the fabric. I was complimented numerous times; one of which came from a freelance fashion writer. The best part of all? It is really comfortable! I felt like I was wearing a little slip. The other reviewer who said you could fit this in your handbag was right and just like her I wish I could buy it. Alas, I don't have any photos to share that show off the dress. For accessories; I wore beaded black chandelier earrings, a black beaded bracelet and a chunky black beaded ring. Simple black handbag and black 5 inch stilettos.
