I wore this for my friend’s Barbie themed birthday, and it was definitely right on theme! That said, I did not have the bust or the patience to tape this dress in place. And it definitely would not have been appropriate without thoughts, prayers, and all the fashion tape (I lazily attempted this as a trial run). Also, the shoulder pads and lining took a lot of finagling and at times felt like they didn’t fully match up with the velvet outer portion of the dress, depending on how I moved. All of that aside, I still absolutely adored this dress and received a ton of compliments on it the whole night. I paired it with the Les Petits Joueurs Butterfly Bag and it was the final touch I needed to feel like a Barbie. Overall, I’d probably rent this dress again if I was in a pinch and would try and have more patience and the right undergarments.

I loved this little bag and got tons of compliments on it! It was absolutely perfect theme wise to take to the movie and friend’s themed Barbie party. That said, I wasn’t able to fit much more than my wallet, a lipstick, and my keys in it. My iPhone max didn’t even stand a chance of fitting so that made it a little inconvenient. For an event, I loved this purse and it was a great accessory. However, I don’t think I’d rent it for any practical reasons.

This was the perfect dress for my death to my 20’s party. I got told several times I was giving “I just killed my husband for the insurance money and this is his funeral” vibes and I couldn’t have asked for a better compliment. That being said, the top stayed up beautifully but some of the boning was a little wonky and stuck out and it liked to shift to the side as a result a lot. And I definitely needed a very high heel to keep the little train off the ground but overall I would highly recommend this dress and would probably rent it again in a pinch.
