Subtly perfect for black tie work event
For black tie work event, at 4 months post partum, this shortie felt pretty. Not recommended for larger than a D bust though. Great for petite women or shorter, and was very flattering.

I received so many compliments on the color and fit & it was very comfy for a formal work event.
Going to the RTR NYC shop and having the help of a stylist was great. I'm short, but curvy and I was concerned how flattering this would be. It looked pretty good on my friend who is 5'8" in the Tall. I did wear Spanx.

I don't know that there is a rival for what Spanx can do in terms of slimming and smoothing. I have a short torso so I usually tuck the top into my bra, which also helps me feel more secure moving around or even dancing. It lasts a long time.

I can't believe I didn't get a single photo when I got so many compliments on the dress!
Based on user reviews, I ordered the size I normally wear for my lower half and a size up, but my husband commented immediately that the dress looked too big. I wish I had ordered a size down to compare. If I owned it (which I now wish I did) I could bring it in to enhance the hourglass shape. I wore a padded bra which helped with the top being a little loose as well. I did have to readjust the dress a few times throughout the wear. The colors and pattern are fun and worked well on me being pale and the length was great. I wore it for drinks to celebrate my 30th birthday, and it was a great choice.

I loved these earrings, went so well with dress, and were comfy!
Not heavy on the ear, but not worth wearing if your hair will completely cover so I recommend for an updo OR what I did, with one side pinned back so you could see one earring very well.

I had a black-tie event, and I hardly ever get those types of opportunities, so I knew I had to get a show-stopper of a dress. I'm a redhead, so when I saw this dress I immediately knew I wanted it. I rented both the 6 and 8, and while I could fit into both, I chose the 8, because it was just easier to zip myself and allowed for a strapless bra underneath. I felt very pretty, and I wish I had a reason to rent this again! I'm curvy and I am always concerned about appearing lumpy, but this dress had some stretch and was very flattering.
