Good spring basic for your wardrobe
The fit was relaxed, but not sloppy. I think you could size down for a more fitted look unless you have broad shoulders or a larger bust.

If you are between sizes or prefer a more fitted look, I would definitely size down. The belt cinches the waist up nicely, but the dress is very generous in size.

Not for you if you have hips
I wanted to love this. If you have any curves whatsoever this is not for you. Quite a bit of the pocket lining will show, and it is not the same color as the skirt. I could see this some in the pictures online, but it was much more pronounced on me.
