Even the 12 was too tight around my aging belly, the straps would have needed the tape, as others have mentioned. My guess is that this dress is best for long and lean women

great quality, thick fabric, small in sholders
I was able to wear to a cocktail party, no dancing, quite tight across the shoulders, A-line flattering, and comfortable, received several compliments. Colors and weight of fabric are great for a fall event. I would rent again if I didn't need to move my arms!

elegant dress, perfect for fundraiser gala with instructions, black and with with a pop of color,
Wore bra with one strap, form-fitting, tape on shoulder to hold white in place. lined so a bit heavy for summer event, but fine for cool evening, felt great in it! Beautiful dress.

fun to dance in, lots of movement in "skirt"
A bit low at the bust for me, so I added an ivory cami and used tape. It's tight at the chest, which is why I needed the 10. It's easy to accessorize, and I wore a nude heel, a chunky bracelet, and a large pearl necklace. I found it flattering on my aging body, which is changing its shape. This dress would be great for many events.

the 10 was just right, a little cut low for me, I stitched (and then unstitched) the v neckline, used regular bra with special additional straps that let bra back be lower (there is enough height in back to do this comfortably) Definitely a great dress. Highly recommend. Necklace was a terrific accessory, it was also from RTR

Comfy, flow-y, great for hot summer night elegant affair
Fashion taped the slit that was a bit high for my comfort, Wore strapless bra with ease. Rented green raffia clutch as well, goes great. Coloring of dress great for my summer tan skin. Added nude slip to gain a few extra inches to address the short “slip” that is part of dress. That also worked great.

perfect for my event
light weight, flow-y. I wore a crisscross bra strap. I fiddled with the bow in the back, I ended up letting the back neckline be in a V shape and loosely tied the the strands necktie style. I found all the reviews very helpful in determining the size to order. Thanks to all who write. This was my first rental. I will do so again.
