I got this dress as a replacement for one of the items in my original order, and I was SO impressed with it. The material feels very substantial and luxurious, but wearing it did not feel heavy at all. There wasn't a lot of give in the material, so I opted to size up (I'm usually between size 8/10) and I am glad I did - the dress was comfortable both seated, standing, dancing, and eating at the wedding that I attended. Also, even though it does have an invisible back zipper, I was able to get this dress on without assistance and without too much fussing and twisting/turning. There is some texture in the fabric of the dress, so it's not quite as plain as it might look online. The lines are conservative, but that makes it eminently suitable for anything from a professional event, to a wedding, or to a fancy dinner. Because of the color and simple lines, this was very easy to accessorize - you can go for a more classical look, or go bolder with color. I am so pleased with how this dress looked/felt, and I got so many compliments on it during the wedding. Once again Rent the Runway came through for me!

The leather is supple, zippers are well-placed without being difficult to reach or catching/snagging on things, and this leather jacket is wonderfully eye-catching and beautiful! It looks great as a fitted item but I'd imagine it could do well slightly oversized as well. It was comfortable in both a California winter (60s) as well as when I took it out of town to Dallas (mid-40s), where the large pockets came in handy at the airport and just wandering around town. I've rented it twice and definitely plan on renting it again. This is a great item and a fantastic value. The large size was more fitted, but XL was more comfortable overall for me if I wanted to layer and have more room to move.

I picked this item to potentially wear on an out-of-town trip, but it was unexpectedly a little fancier than I expected! It also looks like it might have been on the small side, on top of having a zipper in the back that looked impossible to reach. I don't think I could have worn this without someone's help to zip me up, so I did not wear it for my trip. I might consider renting again in the future for the right situation/event.

Nice everyday item, but the sweater kept slipping off my shoulders. I felt like the knit was not stretchy enough to be accommodating for my body, and it was also a little bit thin for being sweater material. This probably would have been more appropriate or a spring or fall outfit. Overall it was nice but a bit too fiddly for me to rent again.

One of my favorite things about this dress is how SUBSTANTIAL it feels. The sweater material is thick without feeling like a winter frock; it's fitted without showing off every roll or the lines of my underwear. Working for a convention, I needed something both comfortable yet also that looked dressy and nice, and this dress fit the bill perfectly! It needed very little to dress it up and it was super low-maintenance - it never needed tugging into place or smoothing out, and survived crowds, sitting, and even a massive group selfie standing precariously on an armchair. I would ABSOLUTELY rent this again and honestly would even purchase it given the opportunity!

Beautiful hair comb that really elevated my hairdo for a black tie / formal event. Not apparent from the pictures but the piece has a small degree to flexibility so the edges/flowerwork on the left and right can be moved to accommodate your hairstyle. It was somewhat difficult to twist into shape but I definitely appreciated the option, as I was able to adjust the piece to perfectly match my hairstyle. Only downside is some of the wire wrapping on this comb were not finished off well - I had to wrap one of the small wires back around so it wouldn't be aimed at my head when I was wearing it. Otherwise I loved the shape and size.

I had a hard time finding a necklace to pair with my dress for a black tie masquerade ball. Since my dress had large floral appliques and had an unusual collar, I wanted a necklace that was not too bold but would fill the empty space at my neckline. This was the perfect, elegant piece! The only downside is that it does not return to the "natural" position it should lay easily, and because of the way the pieces are connected I tried to be extra careful while rotating the outer pieces so I wouldn't break anything. Otherwise a perfect accessory.
