Couldn't zip it up :(
Based on the reviews I ordered both the L and XL, but both sizes were too small on me. For the Large size, I couldn't pull it up over my hips and butt. For the XL size, there wasn't enough room in the rib and chest area to be able to zip it up. The colors and linen material were pretty and would have been a great outfit to wear, if it had fit me.

I ordered the back-up size as another size up, but it did not fit :(
I ordered this dress to wear for my birthday celebration. Per the recommendations, I ordered my usual size and then a size up for the back-up size. I tried the back-up size on first and I could not zipper up the dress, due to it being way too small around my bust, so I knew my usual size was not going to fit. Thankfully I had ordered a 3rd style, and that dress fit. I may try to order it again at 2 sizes up from my normal size, but the style may just not be good for those who have larger busts (I'm a 36 D).

I received so many compliments on this dress!
I have a size 36 D/DD chest and I usually don't wear clothing that shows a lot of cleavage but I decided to take a chance with this dress because the full skirt balances out the cleavage and cut-out on the top. I read other people's comments about the bust area and decided to size up for my rental, plus I went up another size for the back-up size, and I'm glad I did. I decided to try the size 12 (the back-up size which is 2 sizes up from my normal size) first and it just barely fit, so the size 10 would have been too small. I also rented the Kate Spade red lovely lilies statement studs, purple straw purse, and orange wedge sandals which I think paired really well with the colors in the dress. Since the weather was not very warm, I decided to cover up with a cardigan and jean jacket to make the outfit more casual. I rented this dress for a Kentucky Derby/Birthday party and I think it was a great choice, but I probably wouldn't rent it again because I felt more conscious of the cleavage later in the party and kept having to pull up the chest area to make sure I didn't flash anyone.

I LOVED these earrings!
I rented these earrings to wear with the Hutch Spring Stripe Dress for a Kentucky Derby/Birthday party. The earrings were not too heavy and didn't bother me even after wearing them for several hours. I would definitely consider renting these again to wear with other dresses, could dress up a plain dress or pair well with a floor-length gown- very versatile!

I dared to wear the off the shoulder trend and loved it!
This dress was a replacement dress for my original rental order when RTR customer service notified me that my choice was not able to be sent to me. The RTR rep (Lauren V) was super easy to work with and quick to respond as we communicated to find another dress to be sent to me. I wasn't sure about the off the shoulder trend and the midi length but I decided to give it a try. This dress is beautiful - you can't tell in the pictures but there is a silver sheen - and fit very well-though a little tight around my rib cage. I wore this dress to an outdoor barn wedding, so I paired the dress with boots and simple accessories, and I think I received more compliments for this dress than any other RTR rental!

This dress fit like a glove!
This was not my first choice of dress, but RTR customer service contacted me the day before my rental was sent and let me know that my dress was going to be sent to me. The customer service rep (Lauren V) was super helpful and suggested several other styles that I could rent instead, and this was one of 2 dresses that were sent to me. I've wore Clover Canyon before and have loved how the neoprene fabric fit so well, and this dress was no exception! The pattern could seem overwhelming for some, but I think it was a great dress to wear on a warm fall night with black scrappy heels and RTR Kate Spade ear pins.

Very easy to wear and not too heavy!
This is the first time I've tried an ear pin, so I wasn't sure if it would be too difficult to wear. These ear pins are very light and comfortable, and were the right amount of color to coordinate with my RTR dress (Clover canyon poetic petal dress) that I wore for my anniversary dinner. I will definitely keep in mind for future rentals!

A stand-out dress to celebrate my birthday!
I got so many compliments about this dress! It was perfect for celebrating my 30th birthday- sexy with the sheer areas, but the high neck and length of the dress made it classy for getting drinks at a swanky hotel. I have a large chest, and the material of the dress does not have much give to it, so I sized up and wore a Large. Since the back is sheer, I couldn't wear a bra, but chest was tight enough that the girls stayed put! I really loved it, it was another RTR dress win!

I will rent this dress again- I can accessorize it so many different ways!
I ordered this dress for my husband's work holiday party. I didn't need a fancy dress, but I didn't have anything that I felt like wearing, and I had a 20% code for RTR. I ordered the size 8 and 10 as the backup. Both sizes fit, but I decided to wear the size 10 because it was a little bit more loose and I figured that I would feel more comfortable in it after eating at the party :) I wore a black blazer, black patterned tights, and black wedges with the dress, so I think the dress and the necklace I wore really stood out. The fabric is a medium weight, so I think it could be worn in any season, and I could dress it up or down with many different accessories.

A unique dress to stand apart at a NYE party- Thanks RTR!
I am usually a size medium for most dresses, but the MR size of this dress was not available for the dates I needed, so I decided to gamble and rent the SR and get the LR as the free backup. After trying on both sizes I decided that the LR was too big, since as other reviewers have mentioned, there is a lot of fabric in the top. Even though I have a larger bust, the LR size had too much fabric to look good on me. The SR fit, but was a little tight around the arm and hip areas. I did have to adjust the chest area to have it lay nicely, and I did have to be careful when sitting because the wrap skirt could fall open. I decided to wear the SR, though if I rent again, I would try to get the MR to see if it fits better than the SR. I wore nude tights, short black boots, and simple jewelry to keep the outfit more casual since the NYE party was at a house, but i think it could also look great with strappy heels. I got many compliments and I will definitely try to rent it again for another occasion.

RTR customer service came through with a winner!
When a dress in my original order wasn't available to be sent to me, RTR sent 3 additional dresses in its place!This was one of the replacement dresses, and at first I wasn't sure it is would look good on me, but after trying on the other dresses, this one won as the best for the occasion. It is formfitting, but not too tight, and it lay smooth with nude spanx. It is a showstopper on its own, so i kept the rest of my accessories simple for my birthday dinner outfit. I'll definitely keep this dress in mind for other events in the future.

Beautiful earrings, just not right for the dress that I ended up wearing
These earrings are beautiful and I will consider renting again for another event. These are bigger than I expected, but they are not heavy. The colors of the earrings are beautiful and I think they would have gone great with the dress I originally ordered for my birthday dinner, but since the dress didn't fit, I ended up not wearing these either.

This was included by RTR since part of my original order couldn't be shipped.
I didn't try on the size 8 of this dress, so I am just assuming that this dress would be too small since I tried on the size 10 of this dress that was also sent, and it just barely fit. The cut of the dress is unique, and I was considering wearing the size 10 to my birthday dinner that evening. However, the ruching sat weird on my curves and the style just wasn't what I thought would be right for the location of my birthday dinner.

Too small and didn't fit, but RTR still saved the day!
My original order was for this dress in the size 8 and size 10 as a back-up size based on the reviews. RTR alerted me when they shipped me the size 8 that the size 10 was not able to be shipped too, so they added 3 extra dresses to my order (awesome customer service)! This dress was very nice quality material and a chic style and length. However the material didn't have much give to it, so it was too small for me to zipper up the back. The size 10 may have fit, so I might try to rent the 10 again another time to give it a try.

This beautiful dress made my birthday dinner with my husband even more special!
This dress was perfect for my birthday dinner with my husband- colorful, flirty, but not too fancy for the restaurant. It is a stretchy material without zippers, just pull over your head and go! The dress was a tad short, so I wore small wedge sandals. The chest area was tight, and the armpit cut in a bit, so I ended up wearing sticky bra petals instead of dealing with bra straps. I also wore spanx to smooth out the waist area, but the fit and flare also helped to hide the inevitable food belly. This dress is very versatile and I'll look to rent again in the future.

It was the perfect accessory for my RTR birthday dress!
I rented these earrings to wear with a RTR dress for my birthday dinner, and they matched the dress perfectly. The earrings were not too heavy, but I did start to notice that my ears got a little irritated by the weight after wearing them for a few hours. I loved them so much that I wore them again the next night too! I will definitely look to rent theses again.

I felt like a million bucks!
The dress is beautiful, and the flower lace pattern was perfect for a black-tie optional formal spring wedding. However, it was very form-fitting, so I really debated whether I should have tried the 12R. After eating dinner and dessert, the dress was even tighter, so I would consider sizing up if I rented this dress again. I wore bra petals since a strapless bra wouldn't fit and would have shown under the lacey sheer v in the dress, and I wore spanx to smooth out my waist/hip area. The dress was also short and I couldn't wear heels higher than 2 1/2 inches and the dress still didn't fully touch the floor. Overall I got many compliments and was able to promote the wonderful Rent the Runway company!

The dress was perfect for a conservative spring wedding
I received the size 8 and size 10 dresses, and since the 8 was just a tad tighter than I hoped it would be, I decided to wear the 10 for the conservative wedding I was attending. The beautiful berry color was perfect for a spring wedding, and the elbow length sleeves were comfortable and not tight or scratchy. I wore a nude strapless bra which I noticed would sometimes peek out above the liner of the dress, but I don't think other people could see it. I'm very happy with the delivery and return process for RTR, and I'm excited to wear other dresses very soon!

I was not ashamed to tell people that I had gotten the necklace from RTR and I hope I was able to convince a few people to try out the website as well!
I am so glad that I decided to order this necklace for my friend's wedding. It was just what I needed/wanted to jazz up my LBD and cardigan without going overboard or being overdressed for the more casual spring wedding. I loved that it was reversible and wore the nude bauble side for the ceremony and the shiny gold side for the reception. I paired it with the DVF zebra print clutch/bag which matched with the gold and added a fun print to the outfit. I got so many compliments on this necklace! It was a little heavy, but it didn't bother me enough to make me regret wearing it :)
