I didn’t end up wearing this dress — this fit was a bit strange/unflattering on my body type. Waist up, the M fit perfectly but was too tight and short from the waist down. The L waist up was way too big (especially in the flowy arms) but fit perfectly from the waist down. The dress itself is very pretty, comfortable and colorful. However, for a pear shaped body, the sizing of the top half didn’t match the bottom half, and the piping gave the illusion of unflattering rolls. This dress would work much better with a straight and narrow or hourglass body type.

The color/shimmer of this dress was even prettier in person, perfect for a NYE wedding. The fabric was thick and stretchy, very flattering while also keeping me warm in a Midwest winter. The 10 was a perfect size but the dress is also forgiving - a smaller or larger size would also have worked. I am 5’8” and the slit was quite high on my leg but not too high where I felt exposed or uncomfortable. It is a beautiful, comfortable and easy to wear dress.
