This dress was so pretty and fun. It hid any problem areas I have. Two things: (a) it runs VERY large. I weigh 165lbs, and the large was huge on me! So glad I got the medium as a backup. (b) I recommend pinning the strap in the back to your bra strap and to the side of the dress where it snaps. I'm busty, and the strap kept coming undone when I moved my arms until I finally pinned it. Other than that, it's stunning. I do recommend this for taller people, though. I can see this looking very frumpy on a smaller frame.

4 stars because the dress was ripped at the zipper when it arrived, but it wasn't too noticeable because of the dark fabric and the pattern. This was overnighted and arrived the day of my event when my first dress didn't work. I'm glad the tear on this dress didn't make it unwearable, otherwise I would have been stuck with nothing! The dress was very fitted around the ribs and was a little tight, and the tear at the zipper made it tricky to get on. The plus is that I didn't need need a bra, and the flared skirt gave the illusion that I actually have a waist. The color is beautiful and it was a lot of fun to dance in. It also really enhances the boobs for anyone who is on the busty side. I definitely felt like the girls were the focus, which can be a good or bad thing, depending on your personality. I would rent again, for sure. I must also say that the RTR customer service is great! I was having a minor freak out, and they did the best they could, given the time constraints.

As soon as I saw this dress pop up in my search, I fell in love and wanted it for a formal wedding. Luckily, I ordered it with enough time in advance. I waited with excitement for it to arrive, and ran to put it on when it did, only to be crushed by the fact that it didn't come close to fitting me. I'm a pretty solid size 12 in everything (wore a RTR jumpsuit in a 12 with no issue 2 weeks ago), but this cut was so weird, I don't know what size would have worked. It is very tight around the ribs, but that fitted area didn't come down to the waist where it would have been ok. The material in the bust seemed excessive, too. And as I was trying to move it around and adjust my boobs to see if there was anything I could do to finagle it, the side zipper and the shoulder would not align. Needless to say, I am incredibly bummed. I keep staring at it, hoping my Jedi powers will make a miracle happen, but nothing yet. It might work if I had a few less ribs to get in the way? Since that's not a solution, I have to send it back. Being on the west coast is also hard because it was too late to overnight a new one by the time I received this one. So now I ordered another dress (in a 14), that will arrive day of my event. If that doesn't fit, I'll probably cry, and stay away from renting all together because this is too stressful to deal with right before a big event.

It's big, but not gaudy. I normally don't like pearl accent jewelry, but this was so pretty. I also have sensitive skin, but this was comfy to wear, it didn't bother me at all. Got plenty of compliments and would definitely rent again. Stunning with a strapless outfit.

I'm not overly busty, but definitely couldn't wear a bra with this, otherwise it wouldn't have zipped. The material is thick enough to where that was ok. It's really adorable, but I wound up wearing a jacket over it because it was a little too low cut for the occasion (and Christmas Eve dinner with my in-laws). Also, for my body type, which is a little thick in the middle, I felt more comfortable and looked slimmer with a jacket. If you have an actual waistline, this is a great choice. However, there was no way I was going to go to the bathroom in it, because the zipper had a little stick to it. I would've needed help zipping back up at dinner. Luckily I wasn't at the event for too long and it wasn't a problem.
