First thing I noticed about this dress in person is the material is very thick. I was hoping for something lighter. I have athletic build and I couldn't get my arms and shoulders all the way into the sleeves, but the waist was loose. The waist is also shorter than I expected given the picture on the model. I understand this is the style, but I needed just a little longer before the flare for it to be flattering, especially given the thickness of the fabric in the flare skirt. I liked the color, otherwise it was a disappointment for me.

This dress was so comfortable and easy to wear. The lace is stretchy so I didn't feel any looseness or tightness anywhere. I also liked the sleeves that distributed the weight of the gown such that it was really comfortable. I think I even wore a regular bra. The navy color was a nice change from black

The scuba material is no joke - It is thick an provides compression but not too tight. The embroidery was gorgeous. The long sleeves were nice during winter patio dinner. I don't usually wear sleeves because my shoulders are big and chest is small so I tend to get gappiness in the chest, but the cut and material fit great. Also a great length - I'm 5'7" and it was not too short but not too long. I wore with black tights and booties

Dress was sparkly as expected and added some party wow factor. Wore it for birthday cocktails and dinner in December so happy I had the long sleeves. Unfortunately the fit was not great - I usually wear a 4 but have an athletic shape so the shoulders cut in on the front, and despite its sheath-like cut it was narrow in the thigh area and was just too uncomfortable to wear the 4. The fabric does not give at all, and I had to do some sequin repair, hence only 3 stars. My experience with RTR has been the size 4's unfortunately have a lot of wear and tear (stains, snags, zipper problems), which also unfortunately means I have to always order a backup dress.

This was my back up to the Bali Flare dress (also a Nanette dress) and the top on this fit more like a big 6. The shape and fabric is flowy and fun to dance in; the skirt is not restrictive at all and I even did some ballroom foxtrot and waltz. I was skeptical of the print as I have red hair and thought the pink would be too much, but it is really almost an overall neutral color scheme. I wore a regular bra but pinned the straps together in the back. I would try the 2 if you usually wear a 4.

I loved the bright pop of color and embroidery. Unfortunately the 4 had a big snag in the embroidery on the front of the skirt and I couldn't wear it. The top was fitted perfect and the cut of the armholes was a tiny bit tight on the front of my shoulders so muscular armed women beware. My back up dress was another Nanette Lepore size 4 that was surprisingly really loose on the top compared to this one and felt at least one size bigger. The fabric is high quality and the higher tucked waist hit me just right to be loose around the hips but not so full as to add bulk or take away from my shape.

This was much more sparkly than the pictures can reflect. It was nice and classy, and I liked that I could slightly bend for my small wrist. Unfortunately got it as mystery bling and was hoping for something a little more edgy.

I loved the color of this dress, especially with the silky shine. However, because it is silk, and therefore no stretch, there is no room for error on the fit. It fit well in the chest although of course needed double-sided tape otherwise it would gape when leaning forward ever so slightly. The waist and hips were loose but it still wore well because of the flowiness of the skirt. The shape looks AMAZING when you are walking around -- when standing it is just kind of meh. I wore it for a dinner/dance so I went with the 4R and 2.5" heels. Because the skirt moves so much I didn't have problems stepping on it. I wore it with chandelier earrings rather than necklace because I went with mystery bling and that's what was sent -- it still looked good as I am somewhat flat chested and had a pretty good tan going :)

This was my backup dress. It fit snug on top and did not come to the ground when I was barefoot. The color is more pink than coral. The cut is very comfortable -- I felt like I could move around and it was not going to be revealing or I would need to be fidgeting with it. Very flowy.
