Bold statement dress
RTR sent this dress to me (new with tags) in lieu of a BCBG I'd rented that didn't get back to them in time. It was similar in style, though the other dress was red. I got married in a Nicole Miller and love her dresses, and it fit well overall, though the dark color was stark against my pale complexion. The fabric is heavy and stretchy, and the dress was comfortable for dancing--though you'll need to have someone zip you into the back top! Stick on or strapless bra a must. In three inch heels, I think I could have gone with a tall, but it worked okay.

Great color!
This was the dress I really wanted to wear, but I only got it in my backup size since someone returned the 6 either late or damaged. RTR did send another dress, which I wore, because this dress in a 4 was just too tight around the waist. Great heavy fabric and nice lines. I hope I might have another reason to rent it soon!

Gorgeous dress and great for dancing!
I LOVED this dress. The fit and flare style is very flattering, and it just swirls around your legs as you move. It was great for a college ball (I'm a prof) because it's conservative enough for a work environment, but the slit makes it sexy in an elegant way. As others have noted, the top is quite fitted, so sizing up is a good idea if you are at all curvy. The top is very structured, so a bra isn't really required. The dress moves beautifully when you walk and dance, and I got compliments on it all night, and even the next day. I paired it with black heels and bold gold accessories for a new Orleans-themed ball. I would rent this dress again in a minute!

Beautiful dress!
I rented this dress for our science museum's Butterfly Ball, which was a rooftop masquerade. It was summery, fluttery, and perfect for the occasion, with its movement and botanical print. I got many compliments on the dress through the evening, and I felt beautiful. The only possible issue--the short underskirt does tend to creep up, especially when sitting, so you have to stay aware of it. The outer fabric is delicate--the dress had a small snag in the long skirt when it arrived, but it wasn't noticeable. I would rent this again for a fitting occasion!

This dress ROCKS!
This dress is simple and comfortable--silk, so it drapes beautifully. It was actually my backup , and the other dress I rented suited the theme of the formal event better, but I loved this one so much I wore it to a magazine launch at a local club the night before. I was modeling two other dresses there, but this is the one everyone complimented me on. I hadn't really planned accessories for it since it was a backup, but I wore open-toed black patent slingbacks, a wide sparkly cuff, sparkly earrings, and an illusion necklace. It would work well with a bold cuff and earrings, or bold cuff and necklace. I'd rent it again in a minute!

Great dress but a little worn
This was my backup dress; I had tried the style on before elsewhere and knew basically what to expect. The lace pattern and seaming is really lovely, and it's stretchy, so it's comfortable and flattering.. I rented a medium and it was pretty snug. I was a little disappointed in the wear and tear on this dress--one of the sleeves had been partly ripped, and the sleeves and bust were kind of stretched out, so that the sleeves didn't lie flat in the back and the straight neckline rolled forward. Since it was my backup, it didn't really matter, but if it had been my first choice, I think I might have called to see if I could get another version of the dress.

Glamorous AND comfortable! Loved it!
I loved this dress! I went to a "second-chance prom" and danced in it for literally hours, and it was perfect--it fits to show off your curves, but flares at the bottom for some fun while spinning on the dance floor. It's a great balance between old-world romantic and vavavoom. My boyfriend loved it too, and it got lots of compliments and head-turning when we walked in. I accessorized with vintage pearls and rhinestones and black satin peeptoes I ordered the 4L and 6R (I thought) but was sent the 4L and 6L. The 6L was too long on me; I don't do more than 3 inch heels, and it dragged the floor. The 4L fit better overall; with three inch heels it was just skimming the floor, and it hugged my body better. The dress is stretchy, and the pattern of the lace is more obvious if the dress fits a little snugger. I would suggest staying on the smallish side of your two chosen sizes.
