Really pretty, but cut very straight/tapered. If you are more pear shaped, you may need to size up, but that may make the top too big. Great material.

Great work to professional event dress!
Great fit, just enough detail to be interesting. Nice, thick material with stretch. The cap sleeve would be a little awkward to wear with a blazer or sweater due to the thickness and the shape. I was very comfortable wearing this dress.

Good for a daytime or early evening event
Good fit for a pear or hourglass shape. Not sure that it would work for a pear. It is a little on the shorter side (36" -37" length) for a circle cut skirt, so keep that in mind if it's windy! Thicker, fabulously forgiving material, plenty of stretch. It was a bit "cutesy" looking for my taste, not what I had ordered (replacement), but it served the purpose well. The material and solid color kept it from looking too-too sweet/girly. I would rent it again for a daytime or afternoon party or event. The sizing says 14W, but some may find it runs small if you have a larger bust or waist - it felt more like a true 16, not 16w, to me. Any time I have tried on 14w, it has always been too large in the waist area for me, but this one fit perfect, and I usually wear a 16 regular.
