The dress I rented was backless, so I couldn't wear a bra, but I still wanted my top to look "not saggy". I bought these to try out and they really helped out alot! Keep in mind, the tape will make your skin fold in on itself, and it feels weird for the first few minutes, but you get used to it. I actually doubled up to give myself some extra "uffmmp" and it held well even though I did sweat (dancing). Taking it off didn't hurt so bad, but remember to wash your skin a bit more than usual because there will be residue.

I actually decided to wear my back up size to my event (the 4R.) I originally got the 6R thinking it was going to be too small, but it ended up being very loose! The 4R was a bit looser than I would have liked it as well, but it still fit without falling off my shoulders. I'm 5'3" and not considered very petite, but I'm guessing the petite sizes would have fit me better, just because of the length. Or perhaps the dress runs a bit larger ? The length of the dress with heels on was perfect (I wore 5-inch heels) but without heels it dragged on the floor. This was a problem for dancing, but I survived the night without tripping. The dress had a thick underlining and was very comfortable, a good dress for colder weather, and I got no scratches from the sequins whatsoever! The sleeves weren't a problem either while dancing-- they weren't as tight as some reviews claimed it would be. I didn't wear a bra (I bought the flower stickies though) and had no problems at all. This was my first experience with RTR and I am very impressed! The dress was great and so Great-Gatsby feeling. My date and I definitely felt like movie stars !
