After the original dress I ordered for my event becoming unavailable last minute, I had to select a replacement quickly. I wasn't sure about this dress when I picked it, but once I saw it in person and tried it on, I loved it. The material is thick yet breathable, like a scuba material as others have described. It felt great against my skin and the color/pattern was really different and beautiful. My only complaint was the it runs slightly on the large size. I would say order your size or possibly even size down. I wore the Italian equivalent of a US 10, which is a size up for me because that was all that was available, and while it worked, there was a lot of extra room. Not such a bad thing, because that left room for food and dancing, and the pattern hid anywhere that had extra fabric so it worked. I would have liked a little more form fitting just to feel a little more "held in," but overall I really loved this dress and would absolutely rent again!

I wanted this dress to work so badly because it really is beautiful. But it was way too tight and left me with a very weird and unflattering shadow on my lower abdomen, despite being a bit loose on my upper abdomen. There is zero stretch, and it was so tight around my hips that bending over and/or sitting was impossible. I'm typically an 8 but sized up to a 10 and it was still way too tight. A 12 would probably still be tight but way too loose up top. I don't think the overall cut of this dress would work for my body no matter what size I ordered, unfortunately.

There weren't many reviews on this dress when I ordered so I was a bit nervous but I'm so glad I took a chance because it was perfect! Probably one of the most comfortable dresses I've ever worn and I felt was very flattering! I received many compliments and was sad when I had to send it back. I actually ended up going with my backup size, which was a size smaller than what I thought I'd need.

I wore this for a red carpet themed Christmas party for work. This was the perfect dress. Simple and classy yet dazzling with all over sequins. It is a tad low cut, so I did pin the front to keep things in place. I am 5'7 and ordered a 16L after reading the other reviews that the dress seemed to be cut a bit short. I wore red pumps and the length was perfect. Without heels it hit the ground. I couldn't believe how comfortable the dress was. It hides imperfections and hugs all the right places. I felt stunning and was so sad when I had to send it back! This was my first experience w/ RTR and I am so pleased. Now I just need to find some more fancy parties to go to so I can rent again!
