Nice but the regular size was still too long
I had to do some temporary hemming to make this work. I ordered the regular, but even with 2-1/2 inch heels, this was about 2 inches too long for my 5'3" frame. Beautiful though so I was determined to make it work.

Beautiful dress. Neckline is a little odd.
I ended up wearing this dress and overall I really liked it. Although the neckline was a bit strange... it looks tight and flat in the photo, but there was lots of extra material so it hung a little loosely. Still wasn't enough to not wear it - I guess it was the style but I just hadn't noticed that in the photos before renting it. Also I'm 5'3" and although it was OK, I think this would look better on someone slightly taller - it hit me at mid-calf which I don't think is the most flattering.

Beautiful well made dress, but better for someone taller
I loved the overall look of this dress. The material is nice and thick and it's definitely well made. But at 5'3" I felt like the shoulders were quite large and falling off me, and the hemline hit me at mid-calf, which isn't the most flattering. I ended up wearing it because I didn't get a backup dress, and I still got compliments, but I think it would be much nicer on someone taller.
