I have to agree with the first reviewer on this dress. I rented this one as well as the bold beauty Nicole Miller, and the two dresses looked almost identical in color. This dress is gorgeous, but is a deep saturated hue that I would describe as 80% blue and 20% purple. To me, it definitely looked more blue than purple, while the bold beauty Nicole Miller is 100% blue. Both dresses were gorgeous and I ended up wearing the bold beauty Nicole Miller, but would highly recommend these dresses!!

I rented this dress for a late fall wedding and was afraid it would be too showy, but I got SO many compliments the entire night. The dress definitely is a sheath and fits fairly loosely but is meant to fit that way I believe. I paired it with patent black peep toe slingbacks, plum nailpolish, big pearl earrings, and a cream dress coat and it looked really expensive. I would highly recommend for a wedding or as a fun party dress. I am 5'4" and 110 lbs and the XS fit pretty perfectly.

This dress was pretty and paired well with a black blazer for a cover up. The bottom half is pretty fitted and doesn't allow for a whole lot of movement compared to an A line fit. I do think it looks prettier in real life, does not photograph as well. I am 110 lbs and 5 foot 4 inches and the 2 fit very well, the zero was too small.

I rented both this Nicole Miller as well as the Eyes of Jasmine Nicole Miller gown for a wedding. They are identical dresses but the shade of the Jasmine one is about 2 shades more purple than this gown. Both look fairly blue, and this gown is a stunning saturated cobalt blue. The dress is extremely comfortable to wear, and there is a decent amount of ruching on the trunk which is flattering. It is easy to wear a strapless bra, and the style of the dress definitely accentuates your rear end, so if you don't want to call attention to that area I would probably choose a different gown. Received TONS of compliments on this dress.
