I rented this dress because my fiance and I were visiting NYC to see The Book of Mormon. While the play was awesome, this dress unfortunately was not. I'm short and petite so I always expect dresses to be too long but that wasn't the problem with this dress. I read the reviews and knew it would run long since that's the style - No problem. The problem was that it was so loose everywhere else. I know I'm petite but I've rented several items from RTR and don't usually have problems because I read the reviews and choose my dresses wisely but this was a bit of a disappointment. It was very loose in the bust (I'm a 32C) and even more loose in the waist. In order to make it a bit more form fitting I wore a thick belt with it which is the only thing that saved this from not looking like I was wearing a nightgown.

I love the look of this shirt; however, it was definitely a lot baggier and longer than what I thought it would be. Granted, I'm short. so it likely sits longer on me, but I wanted to wear this with a pair of skinny jeans and heels but it was too long and ended up simply making me look like I was pregnant. If you need a little extra coverage in the waist area, I definitely recommend renting this.

I'm very short so I naturally have short arms. I was concerned about this blazer being too long in the body or arms but it wasn't at all which was amazing. I was surprised that the fabric was as lightweight and comfortable as it is since blazers generally give a bit more business casual look to an outfit but it still looked amazing. I pair it with a pair of skinny jeans with a small cuff, a white tank top, and adorable flowered heels. It was the perfect early April outfit for a bridal shower and I would 10/10 rent this again. In fact, RTR should put it on clearance so I can buy it! :)

I rented this dress but did not end up wearing it. While the dress is absolutely gorgeous and very form fitting I rented three dresses for one event knowing I probably wouldn't love at least one of them. I wouldn't recommend this dress for short women like me, even with killer heels. It was quite long and did not seem like it would be easy to hem with fashion tape.

I don't even know how to describe how absolutely fabulous I felt in this dress. Although it was a bit long and I had to hem with fashion tape (I'm quite short so I knew this would be a thing), it was absolutely fantastic beyond that. I did have to use fashion tape to hold the one shoulder strap to my shoulder as I had read from other women in the reviews but this was easy and made it comfortable to wear the dress all night long. I received so many compliments in this dress I could not believe it. My hair actually matched the dress almost 100% perfectly and I felt like a sexy Jessica Rabbit the entire night. Would absolutely recommend anyone to rent it and would rent again myself if another event came up.

I rented this dress for a work Christmas party and while I loved it, I did not end up wearing it. I'm quite short so I knew there was a chance this dress would be too long and have to be temporarily hemmed with fashion tape if I decided to wear it. It fit me wonderfully - except the length of course. I will say that had I chosen this dress over the dress I wore, it would have been very easy to hem with fashion tape so it is an option. I only chose the other dress because the other dress was red with sequins and simply too gorgeous to pass up.

This dress is everything! Being 4'11'' I was very concerned about renting a long dress because I'm very short. I've never had a long dress that I did not have to get several inches cut from the bottom. I read the reviews and there were other women who are on the shorter side (none as short as me) saying it runs short and they had to wear shorter heels than they normally do. Since the ruching is basically from just under the bust down to the knees, you can easily adjust the dress to be longer or shorter. Since the 40R fit me well, I would say length wise, it runs short. If you are average height or tall, I would definitely rent the L as a second size. As other reviews say, it is EXTREMELY tight, but it was a good thing. I did not feel like I was constantly adjusting my dress since it fit like a glove. The only part I would have preferred to be a little more loose was the bust area. Even though I'm short, I'm bustier than most women that are short. My girls were quite squished. The nice part is that the ruching hides most of your imperfections. I'm no stranger to cellulite but none of that showed at all. I cannot speak more highly of this dress. I plan on renting this dress again, I may even see if I can find it somewhere to buy it, that is how much I loved it.
