I wore this dress to a wedding and received many compliments all night! I ordered a long which was the perfect length for me to be able to wear 3-4" heels and still have the dress hit the floor (I'm 5'10") As soon as I switched to flats for dancing the dress was dragging, so if you plan to wear flats and you're around my height, I'd say go with the regular length. The dress fit me like a glove, although the top was a little loose which was a bit annoying because I kept pulling the neck up and waist down so it wouldn't bunch up. The 8 fit me better in the chest but my hips are very wide so the 10 was more comfy around my waist. I still loved the look and feel of the dress and would recommend it for formal occasions.
