This dress worked perfectly going from workplace to evening.
This dress is adorable and flattering. The gold detail is subdued enough that wearing it with a black jacket, tights, and pumps made it great for work. Taking off the jacket reveals the adorable back and makes it great for a cocktail party or holiday party. I felt really cute in it.

Compliments all night on how sparkly and fun this dress is.
Fits true to size and is form fitting over hips and butt. I am skinny and my butt usually looks flat but this made it look like I had a bit of curve there so that was fun. I adored the back of it because it was different and eye-catching. Hard to match shoes to it because it is blush and gold shoes looked harsh with it--but that was all I had. The only type of bra you might be able to wear would be a corset style, which I didn't have. I didn't remember my personal rule of thumb which is that halter tops can make it look like your boobs are weirdly low on your chest so I wish I had thought to bring my corset bra to the place where I got ready for the event.

Great color and the pleating detail on the legs gives it some flare and adds a curvy look at hips.
I am long-waisted and this was on the cusp of riding up uncomfortably around the crotch even though it was the "long." Luckily it was a cocktail party and I was standing all night because it would not have been comfortable to sit down for very long due to it riding up a bit. I actually planned to wear the 4L but went a size down on my backup due to reviews and it turned out the 2L looked better. I got loads of compliments on the outfit and I absolutely loved wearing it (I rented accessories, too). You can't wear any kind of bra (regular, strapless, or strapless corset) unless you are ok with it showing.
