I'd heard that the RTR in-house line ran big, and YES IT DOES. I usually wear anywhere between a 12-14, depending on designer, as I have an apple shape and pretty good sized boobs. I am also 10 weeks pregnant in this picture, and was hoping for roomy dress that didn't make me look or feel like a beached whale. SO GLAD I sized down. Like, VERY GLAD. The 8 fit perfectly, anything larger would have been a tent on me. The fabric feels kind of like a wetsuit material, but it doesn't wrinkle and lays nicely for pictures. The deep V neck is perfectly sexy without showing too much or worrying about bras and boobs popping out. I wore a strapless bra, but probably could have gotten away with a demi regular bra. No pockets, which is a miss, but everything else is perfect! I paired it with a Kendra Scott necklace and loved the look!

Amazing dress! It's flowy, there's ruffles, it has a snap to hold the top together, and it's just a fun dress to be in. The color is perfect, and the flowers give it some great depth. The high-low is super fun, but if you don't wear some serious heels the train will drag on the ground. I will totally rent this again, if I don't try to buy it!

Loved the dress on the hanger, the drapey back and front make it a super flattering cut and silhouette. It's also more of a champagne gold, not a yellow gold. I have pretty large boobs and the girls held the dress out so much I lost the drapeyness in the front. I wore a strapless bra and had no issues with it showing, which I was initially worried about. The length was just at my knees, and was comfortable for walking and sitting in. I'd probably rent again if I needed a glittery dress, I have hazy memories of wearing it because I was SUPER sick, and all bloated from taking steroids for said illness.

I originally rented a different dress, but then it wasn't available, and then THAT backup dress wasn't available, so I popped in to the NYC flagship store to try and pick something off the rack. I saw this beautiful dress and tried it on, and ended up wearing it to dinner and a Broadway show. First, the color is gorgeous. It's a deep reddish Burgundy, a great shade for fall and winter. The off the shoulder is fitted beautifully, not too high or too low. The long sleeves make it chic, and the hemline is just high enough without being uncomfortable to sit in. It fit perfectly, and was nice enough for drinks and a sho, without making me seem too overdressed for an eclectic crowd. I am of the opinion that this dress runs small, as I wore a 14 which fit me just about perfectly, and I usually wear 12 or 10 in dresses. I'd definitely rent again for fall or winter events!

I rented this dress for my elopement in the mountains. I ordered a 10 and a 12, and couldn't get the zipper on the 10 up. It probably would have fit, snuggly, but the 12 fit much more comfortably. The zipper is a little sticky, but it comes up. The lace is feminine and beautiful, and looks gorgeous in photos. The light pink is so soft in some light it looks white. It hit me just above the knee, and looked great with nude heels and a big statement necklace. I'd rent this again for another wedding or party, as it moves easily, is very flattering on all shapes, and looks great in pictures.

Rented for my bachelorette party in Palm Springs. Great fabric-- it's a little heavier so it gives a smooth silhouette, but not too heavy that it weighs you down or is over heating. The criss cross straps in the back are really cute and add a little flair. It's a short dress, but not too short-- no issues sitting down at all. I have a really large chest (32H) so almost everything is tight on the girls, and this dress was no exception. It fit perfectly through the waist, but really smashed the girls down. My one complaint about it is that it has very clearly been worn a lot-- the white is not a crisp, bright white in person, but it definitely photographs nicely (except in the ONE full body picture I have! It's really not yellow in person!)

This dress is beautifully made, a very thick material, and gorgeous rich color. It is slim fitting, so plan on wearing shapewear if you're concerned about smoothness. The part that I couldn't deal with, which ultimately led to me not wearing the dress, was the shoulder straps. They are in a such a weird angle that they don't really sit as an off the shoulder look, but if you pull them up they are pointy and stick up way above your shoulders. You literally can't move your arms at all before having to tug one or both of the straps down. Great dress if you don't have to do anything, but a pass for me.

I LOVED this dress-- in pictures. the girls wearing it looked amazing, and it was going to be perfect for an early fall wedding. I religiously read reviews (it's almost like a second job for me when I'm looking for dresses), and determined I would need a 12, and since reviews said it ran small, I ordered a 10 as a back up. The day came, and I tried on my dress. The 12 fit, but it was a smidge too big. I have a large chest (32G) and the dress just wasn't staying put tight enough around the bodice to hold the ta-tas up. I tried on the 10-- it was too tight, made my boobies look smushed and the boning in the bodice was pushing into my ribs. I was SO BUMMED I couldn't wear this dress. I would ideally like to rent it again when I'm not between sizes, because the fabric is beautiful, the shape is beautiful, and you feel like a princess in it.

I ordered the 10 & 12, not sure of how it would fit, and wore the 10. The 12 had a little too much room in the bust, and my bra showed. You could possibly wear a normal bra, but I would really suggest a strapless so you're not hiding the straps all night long. There was almost no difference in how the two fit through the bodice. The fabric is a thicker feel, which helps smooth out your look. I wore it with shapewear, which really added to the smoothness of the look. The flippy skirt is fun, and the double strap looks really nice for pictures. The only annoying part was, for me, the lower strap kept creeping up. If you raise your arms at all or even put your arms on your waist, you'll have to readjust the straps. I felt super beautiful and confident in this dress, and would love to own it!

It shows your body off, but has ruching and the sparkles which help to hide any imperfections. It was the perfect length to be not "going to the club" short, but still made me feel sexy and beautiful. The neckline was a smidge off center, but honestly it's hard to notice unless you're really looking for it. If you have really muscular arms you might find the sleeves tight, but going up a size might help that. I ordered an XL and an L, and ended up wearing the L (with the support of some shapewear!) I could have worn the XL, but it was kind of loose in the stomach area, and the L was a bit more form fitting. I have a Gcup chest and had no problems with fitting the girls into the dress. Overall, loved this dress, it was perfect for a classy affair but still fun and youthful with the sparkles. Rent the Runway was great, I had a great experience, and I'll definitely rent again.
