Family Pics
I wore this for our family pictures. The material is really pretty and looked great in pics. The dress is shot, but I am 5'1" so it wasn't too short on me. It did run a little large, I probably could have worn a small. Maybe the size difference is mostly in the length. My only complaint was that it wasn't the most flattering on my short frame, but it was still cute.

So this dress runs really large on the top and I am a DD. I honestly don't know how small chested women would wear this. I am not sure that I could've gone down to a small because it might have made it snug in the hips (small backup size was not available, so I never got to try it on). I did have to wear some fashion tape to keep from exposing myself up top. I wore this for an outdoor work party and I thought the material was perfect. Yes, it's fairly thin, but it wasn't see through. It was perfect for a hot summer evening. It was pretty comfy too, would rent again.

I didn't expect this dress to be so "wow!" It was perfect for the cocktail party I wore it to and I will likely either try to buy it, or rent it again. I got compliments all night. The only panic moment I had was trying to get it on. There was plenty of room and the fit was great, but the zipper would not budge past the seam. In fact, when I finally did get it zipped up, the zipper busted and I din't think I was going to be able to get it fixed so I could wear it. I finally got it off, fixed the zipper and then had to have 2 friends help me slip it over my head like a toddler. Once I did that, it fit perfectly. Also, this dress is short enough for short girls, but definitely not too short for my work cocktail party. You can kind of play with the ruffle a little bit too if you want to show more or less cleavage. The fabic is thick and secure enough that I didn't even need to wear a bra, but you could definitely wear a regular bra with it.

Great for short gals!
I got sooooo many compliments on this dress that I wish I had taken more pictures of it!!! I am 5'1" so fining a dress that doesn't go past my knees is a challenge. This dress is short. It was the perfect mid thigh length for my 5'1" frame. I do feel like it ran a little small though, particularly in the chest area, but it still worked. When I told people it was from RTR, i was told I needed to buy it.

This dress didn't so much for me. I am too top heave so it just looked like a bag. It is very short, which I am ok with being 5'1". But it just looked like a bag on me. My mom actually ended up wearing it with leggings and it was cute on her.

Wore this to a rehearsal dinner party and it was perfect. I got sooo many compliments on it all night. I think this dress runs kind of small. I typically wear an 8, sometimes i need a 10 because I have large breasts, but usually a 10 doesn't work because it's big everywhere else. I am usually between a medium and a large. I wore a large and it fit perfectly. A medium would not have fit. I am not sure this would fit someone who normally wears a 10 and up unless they're smaller up top. But I loved this dress.

I ended up not being able to wear this one because it didn't arrive in time, but it is beautiful! The fabric doesn't give at all, so it's probably wise to order a size up, which I did. I am 5'1" and got the petite length. I put on 3 inch heels with it and it swept the floor. So a regular length would not have worked for me.

So I really loved this dress. It was a little big. I typically wear a size 8P. I originally ordered the 8P, but it was delayed with the carrier, so I was sent a 10P overnight. The 8P would have been perfect. I was tugging on this one all night, but it was still a pretty dress. So I think this dress runs TTS. If you are below 5'4", the petite size is the way to go in my opinion. I am 51 and it still brushed the ground even with about 3 inch heels. There's no way I could've worn the regular length. Overall, I loved the dress. After two kids, my midsection tends to be a problem, and I thought this dress was good for my body type.
