I rented a large based on the suggestion from a customer service rep and it was WAY too large. I'm 5'5", 150, 32DDD, and curvy\athletic build. The medium would have likely been perfect but this was not even going to remotely stay up. Cute top though... just couldn't wear it.

This dress was a showstopper! I wore it as a bridesmaids dress in my best friend's wedding and I have never felt sexier in my life. The dress runs true to size for bridal (i.e... one size up from normal dress wear) but is very stretchy! With that said, it's unforgiving.... shapewear is a must if you don't want to see every single thing. If I had to choose a downside, it would be the bra situation. I had a cross back which worked, but not perfectly... the back cuts down too low for a true strapless so you just have to compromise. I am a 32DDD and had plenty of room up top. So with that said, probably not ideal for anyone below a C cup. Last thing, I got regular length and it worked perfectly with 4 inch heels with me standing 5'5".

I had so many compliments on this dress throughout the evening and it really did look wonderful in photos. A few comments I have for the reason it does get 5 stars... I ordered a 6 and an 8. I ended up wearing the 8 which was actually a little big however, the 6 wouldn't zip over my rib cage right below the bust which is such an awkward place for it to be too tight. Also, the dress was a little long. I'm 5'5' and wore 3 inch heels and it still dragged on the ground a little however, I would rather that than it be too short. Also, like with most RTR gowns, the pictures seem to always make the dress look more expensive than it shows up looking. This dress has a seam down the front middle (which I hate because I think it looks cheap) and it also didn't hug around my waist and puff out as much as it appears to do in the model photo. Also to note, if you wear anything below a D Cup, this dress will probably not be the best option for you. I'm a DD and still had room with a bra on. For reference, 5'5', 150 lbs. overall though, I felt glam for my work gala!

I am 5'4", 154lbs, 34DD. This dress was wonderful although it was a smidge short. The 8R was not available so I ordered the petite which worked just fine, however, I love to wear high heels and would have been much more comfortable with the length in the regular. If you are even slightly above 5'4"... i would not recommend the petite, unless you like to wear flats. Overall, the dress looked very sleek and was super comfrotable
