intricate and layered
I wore this dress to an outdoor production of Shakespeare's Othello and it definitely drew some attention! The pattern felt more wintery in person than I expected, but not so much that I felt out of place in mid-July. I loved the intricate gold lace, which is actually a separate layer from the slip. Some of the beading on the bodice and sleeves was a little roughed up, but not noticeable at first glance. I'm not sure that I would rent this again, but it was fun for the evening.

the ties feel larger than they look
The fit for me was fine. Certainly not my favorite, but wearable and kind of expected. The ties however, took me completely by surprise. The material of the whole dress is on the thicker side and the strips of fabric on the sleeve were a bit longer and wider than expected. When tying the knot, I tried to make it as tight as I could, but the thick fabric did not have the desired effect. It ended up looking like a large lump on my shoulders and made the bodice of the dress sit funny over time

bright blue and gorgeous
I received so many compliments on this dress! I love wrap dresses and this was wonderful and flowy. As usual, I did need to pin the bust for work and you could see the slip shifting. Unfortunately, the sleeves kept getting caught on the arms of my desk chair, but that was not a problem after work and the hi-low was a nice feature. I am considering purchasing this dress because it felt so good to wear.

one of my favorites
This is a fantastic wrap dress with good coverage underneath (lifted to see in the photo), I didn't need to worry about catching wind on my walk to work and it was still comfortable at my friend's going away party late into the night. The silk felt so good and the ruffles were just enough. This dress was super flattering and I would highly recommend it.

pink and red, not white
This definitely runs large and is not for anyone with a smaller bust because of how it is constructed. My main issue was the coloring though. I expected a red and white gingham, it is definitely a bright pink which clashed horribly with the red. Not my style at all.

awkward fabric choices
I love the detailing on this dress, but the top is stiff and makes the dress a little difficult to zip up on your own, I wouldn't suggest trying to dance in this dress. It is also double lined, which is helpful as a white dress, but as a sheath it slides around in uncomfortable ways. Definitely not for warm weather.

summer fun
I wore this for a Mama Mia marathon date and it was super fun. The arm holes were a little big, and the tie is sewn in on one side, but the skirt is full and flouncy and the gold flower embroidery was spot on.

A few unexpected details that I wasn't a fan of: the waistband in the back is elastic and really makes the sides pop. The skirt I received was a bit faded and I wasn't expecting it to be red white and blue, unfortunately that is a color combo that I stay away from

elegant, if a bit revealing
I rented this for my birthday as a workday to evening dress and it suited me very well. I did need to pin the bust area, and it still showed a little more than I am accustomed to. I didn't love the shoulder flaps and the dress is more of an off-white/beige than it looks in the picture, but that's just me being picky.

Pride perfection
I rented this for the NYC Pride parade. The colors were bright and watercolor-esque, so fun. I'm still undecided about rompers as a concept, as the "shorts" rode up and the top fell down a bit (I think the straps were a little long for me and not adjustable with out some safety pinning). I felt like I was constantly adjusting, but I was also prepared for that. The straps proved a bit of a challenge when going to the restroom since they cross in the back. Overall, I had such fun, but I don't think I'll rent again.

everything I could have hoped
This dress is absolutely beautiful. I rented for my shift at my employer's centennial celebration and it was perfect! I received so many compliments from caterers, other staff and some higher ups! I can definitely see myself renting this dress again. The fabric is on the thicker side to give it structure without being bulky. It was 95 degrees, sunny and I power-walked over a mile in this dress, but I was able to cool down pretty quickly once I got back in the air conditioning. The shoulder came out just far enough to hide my bra strap. It was fitted without being skin tight and hid my tummy well, and after all that, there were good sized pockets too!

The skirt fit and zipped fine, but there's a clip above the zipper that really cinched my waist and was uncomfortable, so I opted not to wear it. If I decide to rent again I'll definitely size up, hopefully it doesn't end up looking too big.

Super fun, lots of compliments, a few hiccups...
I wore this dress for a Pride kick-off event hoping that the multi-colored sequins would look like rainbow sprinkles amongst the silver, but they are mostly red in kind of a rusty shade. Thankfully, they are double sided sequins, so I flipped most to the silver side. As for size, the large fit my body better, but the sleeves were a little small so I went with the XL, wish I saw the sleeveless version before renting! There were also a few times the sequins got caught while dancing and my arm got stuck to my side, would definitely recommend wearing your hair up for similar reasons.
