Loved this dress -- I found it in the store when I looking for a wedding. I ended up renting it for the rehearsal dinner. The deep reds and golds in the jacquard are perfect for any fall event. The cut-outs were flirty, but not overly showy. I wore a pair of J.Crew crystal earrings with black sheer tights/hose and black shoes. I wasn't sure how dressy the rehearsal dinner would be, but I think I would have felt perfectly dressed no matter what. Pockets are becoming a favorite detail in any dress, so they were nice, too. I wish I'd had a strapless bra -- the straps showed a bit (see the picture), despite snaps for the straps. It looked okay, but strapless would have looked more polished. In terms of size, the 4 was perfect -- however, I would order one size up from your normal size as a back up. There is no give to the material, so if you don't like anything tight around your waist or if you're busty, it would be nice to compare your normal size with one size roomier. All in all, another super-successful RTR experience.

Paired these with the Monique Lhuillier J'adore gown. While that gown is more classic than trendy, these coordinated beautifully with the waistline without being too matchy. The weight and size was perfect, too -- not too heavy, not too long. I think these could be versatile for a number of looks and occasions. In fact, they would looked great with the Theia Alexis dress that I wore the night before. I was definitely pleased.

Where do I start? Loved the drape of the faille -- felt much richer than polyester. The drape of the skirt fell beautifully and had just the right amount of fullness. The long was the perfect length -- I'm 5'9" and wore 1" goldish kitten heels, so I definitely recommend the long for anyone who is 5'9" or taller with heels. The colors were crisp and the be-jeweled waistline was eye-catching, yet subtle. I paired the gown with the Ella Carter Campbell earrings, which are slightly edgier than they are classic, but they worked! They coordinated perfectly with the waistline without being too matchy. In terms of fit, the 4 fit well without a bra. I wasn't super comfortable going without, because I was afraid the temperature might give me away. Once I added the lift of a NuBra, I felt much more comfortable in the 6 -- especially when I did a little trial dancing in my hotel room. Oh, and the pockets were an awesome detail -- I kept my lip gloss in one and easily fit my phone in the other, so I didn't even worry about keeping track of a clutch. Another super successful RTR experience. I can't wait until my next event!

I loved everything about this dress when I tried it on in the storefront. I'd tried on a 4R in the store, and it was too big. I consulted with the stylist and felt really confident that I'd have the correct size when I ordered the 2R/2L. When the dress arrived, I couldn't get the belt around my waist and the darts on the bust were very odd. The skirt fit well-enough, but the overall effect without the belt and with the way the bust dimpled did not work. Unfortunately, the dress had also been damaged (e.g. the hook and eye on the belt were broken and there was a ripped seam on the length that fit me). All in all, the dress is beautiful -- loved the color, drape, and concept. I had thought it would work well, because I have a long torso and was exactly the look I was going for. Unfortunately, it missed the mark for me.

This dress was fantastic -- it was so unique, the fabric and construction were unreal, the color was an unbelieveable sapphire, and it fit like it was cut for me. The lines were simple and amazing. The cut-out was sexy, yet demure. I loved it. That said, word to the wise: It had A LOT more skirt than I'd anticipated (i.e. fullness and tulle). In fact, as much as I loved this dress, I would not have rented for it again for this particular event. It is truly a ballgown -- had I tried it on before, I would have selected a different dress to wear as a wedding guest (I felt self-conscious all night). Also, I'm 5'9" and wore 1" kitten heels and the long was way too long (I wish I'd had a regular length). All in all, my experience with RTR was unbelieveable -- and the dress was perfect, just not perfect for that night.
