Odd fit, would not recommend for a wedding
I rented this dress for an indoor/outdoor June wedding, and unfortunately was not able to wear it either size I ordered. After reading the reviews that it ran big, I rented a 2 and 4, as I am usually in between both sizes. The 2 fit my body and the 4 was too big overall. The issue is the bust part of the dress, which has an underwire and padding. For the size 2 the built in cups were much too shallow and therefore the top was too revealing for a wedding. For the size 4, the cups were a better size but the rest of the dress was too big. The fact that the straps aren't adjustable didn't help either. Disappointing.

Fabric and fit not as expected
I was looking forward to this dress as it looked great in review photos but I could not wear it. I'm usually a 4 and sometimes 2 depending on the brand. I rented a 4 and 6 because the reviews said it ran a bit small, but but even the 6 was too tight. I could not have walked, sat or danced for an entire wedding. The fabric is a thick, stretchy material so it's revealing but also not very forgiving, especially around the thighs.

Stand-out dress
I wore this dress for a January wedding in Disney World. My only issue was it was very low cut and also cut wide, and had to use fabric tape- probably would be difficult for bustier women. It worked out and looked beautiful, but I was conscious of keeping the tape on and hidden the whole time.

Back-up dress was a success
I wore this dress as a back up when the one I ordered ended up becoming unavailable the day before my event. RTR customer service gave me the option to pick another dress and sent it by overnight mail in time for my event. Its a fun style and and I received a lot of compliments! The dress is a heavy material, so not ideal for an outdoor summer event, but was great for our indoor/outdoor formal in April.

Top rental!
This dress was great for a semi-formal June wedding. Beautiful colors and very comfortable, so fun to dance in. However, I am 5'4" and wore 3.5" heels, and needed the petite, which was the perfect length. The fit was otherwise true to size, but I would definitely recommend ordering a petite for 5'4" and shorter.

This dress was great for a warm, sunny June wedding. Fit was true to size, fairly easy to sit and dance in, and I received a lot of compliments!

I loved this dress, and overall it worked great!
Normally I am a 4 across the board, but the 2R fit perfectly. Except for the belt. I wore the size 4 belt, so I would definitely ordering your normal size and one smaller. The chest area is a little loose, however, and I think it would work better for someone with a taller torso. I could not wear a bra because the back was open and the neckline was too low, but it worked OK. I am 5'4" and the regular length was perfect with 3.5 inch heels. Color is a beautiful light slate/robins-egg blue.
