I loved this dress and felt beautiful in it. It's stretchy and perfect for dancing, sitting, eating, and all that movement you forget about at an event. A word about sizing: I debated between the 8 and the 10. Since I had gained some weight recently and was extra doughy in the tummy, I decided to go with the 10. As soon as we got in the car to drive to the event, I regretted my choice. I wish I had worn shapewear and stuck with the 8. The shoulders felt too large when I sat down, and I noticed in photos that the dress was a little on the "safe" side instead of the body con fit I had first imagined. All in all, though, I loved this style and definitely recommend it. No, the sequins never felt scratchy to me.

Wow, wow, wow! I loved this dress. I'd say that the short part hits at mini-skirt level, and the longer side hits at my usual comfort zone length. I wore this to Mother's Day tea and got a lot of looks/compliments from other women at the event. The hemline is the show-stopper of this dress. I liked the light fabric and was very comfortable on the 90+ degree day. I found that the M was very close to a size 6, but it was very tight in the bust for me, so I opted for the L. It was comfortable and perfect.

I felt better about S-M-L sizing vs numerical sizing since I have a size 8 bottom half and a size 10-12 top half . I'm a 34-36DD, so this was tough to zip up. I had to go without a bra to make it work. The plus is that the waist area is very forgiving. I had a lot of room but because of the tie, it didn't look like I was swimming in a roomy dress. In fact, the fit was very flattering. This color is gorgeous! I had to re-tie the sash a few times as it loosened, but I was also doing a lot of dancing. I went with a single tie after trying a knot, but the knot was too bulky. I styled it with nude sandal heels and gold jewelry.
