I loved this dress for a late summer outdoor event. Very comfortable but also stylish and I think it would be flattering for many body types.

A cute and easy to wear dress, but runs very large. I would normally wear a 6, but in this case that was quite large -- should have gone down at least one size

There is a fine line between "frumpy" and "classic" and, alas, this dress falls very much on the frumpy side. First, it is HUGE. I would normally wear and 8 or 10 and the 10 was swamping me. The length would only count as sexy or alluring if you were living in some "Handmaid's Tale" dystopia. The shoulders were horrible, the fit was boxy and unflattering... Unfortunately I can't imagine any occasion where I might wear this, unless I go to a cocktail party at a convent in the near future. Adding insult to sartorial injury, the grey hue reinforces the aggressively bland and unflattering elements of this dress. I tried to belt it, and that didn't improve the look--rather, it was so LARGE that I looked almost as if I was playing "dress up" in my mother's work clothes. Boo on this choice! I would SIZE DOWN by two sizes if you rent this.
