A classic shaped dress with a semi-sexy cut down the front - I loved this dress! It was a thick and sturdy material (I wore it for a summer wedding, but it was indoors) and it has a very full and fun skirt for dancing (and if you have a bigger bottom like me and like it loose - this is a great dress for you!). I'm between 5'8" and 5'9", so I always worry that dresses like this will be too short, but it was a very comfortable length for a shorter dress. Definitely a nice little update to a classic-looking dress - something that would not be my top choice for a work function but I would definitely recommend for a wedding or other semi-formal (but not super conservative) event!

I rented this necklace for a wedding with the theme "rustic soiree" - it just seemed to have a rustic, classy feel to it. I loved it so much - it was a great length to wear long (but you could double it if you wanted to). I actually ended up using this to accessorize my outfit the next day (hey, you get to rent it for 4 days, might as well make the most of it) and I wanted to keep it so badly! Definitely a more simple necklace to kick your outfit up a little notch.

I rented this dress for a fall wedding with a "rustic soiree" theme. Now, I didn't know much about what that meant so I obviously went to Pinterest to figure it out, and from what I could tell it means a little bit country but a little bit classy - so I figured a nice lace dress that could work with cowboy boots (see third picture) would do the trick. I thought this dress was extremely comfortable. It also works well for my body type, or any body type that has a bigger bottom half as it gives a little bit of a flare/room. The length was perfect for me (I'm between 5'8'' and 5'9'' and I felt extremely comfortable with the length). It was a great dress to dance in as well (a must for a wedding). The things I think are important to note: the color and the detailing on the model photos are definitely different from real life. The lace of the fabric is clearly a different design, though still cute, I think it is a little less formal than the lace design presented on the model. The color is also more of a periwinkle instead of the purple shown on the model. I received a ton of compliments on this dress and had a blast in it. As with so many rent the runway dresses, I wish I owned it! But it worked perfect for the evening.

I'm giving it a 3 because I don't want to skew the reviews and the dress looks nice. I ordered this sometime in August and was going to have it shipped with a rental in the beginning of October, only to find out 1 day before my event that the dress was "damaged beyond repair" and I was asked "what I wanted to do about it". I was refunded (not sure what my other options would possibly even be?), which is great and all, but I had wrongly expected that they would have put it aside earlier when I bought it or notified me sometime about this damage in that two month span. Lesson learned: just pay for the shipping if you buy something separately.

Loved this dress. I got a free rental for the month of August, so at the last minute I decided to rent a dress for a date night. It definitely has a strange fit for the top (you can wear a regular bra though!), but I don't really have a lot going on in the chest region (I'm more of an "athletic" build) so the top fit me very well. If you have bigger or more athletic thighs like me, this dress is great because the skirt is loose and comfortable, and definitely offers a lot of room. I ended up going with the 4 instead of the 6 because I have a smaller upper body & chest, so the weird tight fit at the top and loose skirt at the bottom worked well for my body type. The color and quality were absolutely great. I felt so fancy. I normally wouldn't rent a dress for a date night, but I could see myself doing it again in the future - it was a lot of fun and gave us an excuse to go out for a nice dinner!

Loved this dress - it's cute, classy, and can be dressed up or down. It was also very comfortable - the fuller skirt definitely made it easy to dance around in (see photo for evidence of this!). I wasn't sure about the color online but I loved it on in person. Yellow can be a hard color to wear but I think this shade of yellow is more universally flattering. I wore this to a graduation ceremony at the University of Illinois so the colors were perfect! I got a lot of compliments on my orange & blue. Pros: this dress is so unique and the floral design & color are absolutely gorgeous in person (pictures due this dress no justice in how vibrant it is in person). A dress like this is really memorable, so in a way it's a great dress to rent - if you owned it, you probably would only wear it a handful of times because it does stand out so much that you couldn't really get away with wearing it to multiple events without people noticing. I was worried about the length of the dress, as I am about 5'8''/almost 5'9'' on a good day, but it ended up being a comfortable length for me. I added a second photo to emphasize the length on me for taller girls, because it still is quite short, but for me it felt appropriate (but for someone else it might be uncomfortable). Cons: the fabric is a little thicker (but breathable) and holds some smells in... I have a feeling someone that rented this before might have smoked some cigarettes in it or something, because the dress kind of seemed to hold that smell.
