Modest, by Vegas Standards
I rented this for bachelorette party in Vegas and was hoping for something sexy that I could wear a bonafide, real, adult lady's bra with. This was PERFECT. I was comfortable but still felt sexy/sparkly. (Please forgive the odd photo, I was doing a Beyonce 2014 VMAs Vanguard Award Performance impression. You know the one.)

Pros: This dress is essentially Spanx designed for public consumption. My butt looked just 100. Cons: Lots of hoisting, even with the gummy material inside to prevent sliding. I combined my hoisting with lots of hair flipping to make it look more fluid? I don't know.

Great color for a New Orleans Wedding
Got tons of compliments on the color and cut. As a curvier lady, drop waist isn't always my friend. This dress tapers at the waist, though, so you don't look like you're wearing a sack. One con is that because the skirt is flouncy, the hem doesn't hit your legs at all and it feels as though your goodies might be out on the dance floor. You've gotta trust that they are tucked away, and twirl with caution.

Beware of/embrace the cleave. The choice is yours.
The color is outstanding and the knot in the front of the dress makes it super comfortable and forgiving if you end up going HAM on the wedding buffet. It is lower cut than it looks on the model and that same twist that makes it so flowy around the midsection also tugs your boobs even closer together, so be prepared to wear a pashmina in church or give the Big Man a wink, whichever you prefer.

Great for basic black-tie
The fabric is unforgiving but the dark color (and cocktails) help. You can't wear a bra, so if you are like me you will need some boob engineering. Hopefully you are slightly more organized and take care of that in advance with something designed for that purpose rather than with a bunch of fashion tape and a few strategically placed bandaids. Word to the wise: DO NOT SLEEP IN THE BANDAIDS. Save yourselves.

Geometric print + ace-bandage fit = eat the pizza; you're good.
I wore this to see Beyonce + Jay Z play in Houston and it was totally perfect for the occasion. The dress is super thick and all stretch, so is essentially like a wearable ace bandage that totally pulls you in, while the super geometric pattern made it even more flattering because even slight problem areas were covered. It's like how zebras work except for fashion.

Fun, funky and perfect for a friend's wedding
I love that this dress was modest enough for a wedding with its high neck and length, but had a sneaky open back for a little touch of daring. It was super comfortable and COOL for an August affair. I got a ton of compliments and would definitely recommend it!

Loved this on the model but it fit incredibly loosely, even when I sized down to the four. It's not as structured as it appears in the photo, so I would recommend going at least two sizes down

PERFECT, flowy fit for a night of eating, drinking and dancing that is totally flattering/bombshell on the bust but not overly form-fitting, so you don't feel like you have to suck in all night.

Adored this dress. Rented it for NYE out of town with friends and it's super snug but the ruching keeps it flattering. I was a little nervous about the off-the-shoulder, but it stayed in place perfectly all night. I got a ton of compliments and felt great all night
