Shimmer won't make you shimmy
This dress is pretty and shimmering, nice swirly pattern in its gold sequins, and full twirly skirt. Those are the pros, but the cons well outweighed them for me. This dress was too loose to be really flattering. I was afraid to order the size 12 (see below complaint regarding sizing), so I wore the size 14W that I received. The heavy sequins didn't both me, but it did cause some pulling/hanging of the fabric that left the lining visible along the neckline. Also - important note - the open back means you can't wear a normal bra with it, which is certainly a challenge if you have the large bust that would fill out this full-figure dress. But my BIGGEST ISSUE with this dress was that the cap sleeves means that your arms are rubbing on the sequins below the armpits. If I wore this to a cocktail party, this probably wouldn't have been an issue, but at a wedding with dancing, it sucked. I didn't let it ruin my fun, but by the time I got home and took the dress off, I had uncomfortable and unsightly red rashes on the undersides of both of my upper arms, which didn't go away for 48 hours. SUMMARY: Don't go with the plus size unless you're going to fill it out. Not flattering for an "on the cusp" plus girl. Plan your bra solution for the open back. Don't plan on dancing. RTR Size complaint: I have a consistent complaint with designer dresses that the normal sizes run significantly smaller than the plus sizes. That may sound like a "duh" statement, but hear me out. When I order a size 16 in a standard dress, it's aways snug, and sometimes too small to wear at all. But when I order a size 12 or 14 in a "plus" dress, it's always loose and unflattering. Where are the dresses in between? They don't exist!

Nice, shimmering clutch
I really just used this bag as a color connection to my date's tie. It wasn't in photos, and I didn't need to carry anything for the wedding, but it was a nice size and color, and had a lovely shimmer that was perfect for a New Year's Eve event.

Pretty, understated, and glamorous
Didn't end up wearing it, cause it didn't work with the dress I got, but this bracelet is beautiful. Very elegant and adds a touch of sparkle.

Plus sizes run REALLY large
I wear a 14 or 16 normally, but the last time I rented a dress, both sizes were too small. So I opted for a plus-size dress. Turns out these run REALLY big. Both the 14 and the 16 were too large. Also, the lace on the collar of this dress didn't lie flat, and looks sort of messy.

Seemed nice
I don't have pierced ears, so I didn't wear them. They came as a stylist surprise. They were pretty, but even if I could have worn them, I have a very short haircut, and I think they would have been a bit overwhelming, due to their size.

Striking!
I like this necklace. I didn't end up wearing it, because it didn't go with the dress I ended up wearing, but I think it's fun and exciting. Maybe a tad heavy, but the size is certainly part of the draw.

Pretty and unusual
I like this necklace. I think it's a good size and is a little unusual. Not the striking piece that will get you compliments and conversation, but a very nice addition.

Bling!
My girlfriend liked this one, but it just wasn't my style. Color/design were too boring for how big and bling the necklace actually is. I like more original/unusual designs.

Formfitting slip is not for big hips
I thought this would be a great dress for my larger hips. No go. I enjoy the disco ball fabric and it was generally comfortable. However, the bodice was not flattering at all - it didn't seem to take shape to my chest. It was like it suggested boobs, while actually flattening them out and not highlighting them. As for the bottom, the skirt was great, but it has a slip / underskirt that's actually a bit tighter. So once zipped up, the slip was too tight on my larger hips and made the bottom of the back zipper pucker up. Not just pucker... it looked like I had a butt boner. There was no way I could wear it out. Even if the slip weren't a problem, I wouldn't recommend this dress, as I just didn't find the shape particularly flattering, which is a bummer, cause what fabric!

Not for big hips
I got a size 14 (my normal size) and then a backup size 16. Even the 16 was crazy small around my ample hips. I know I'm pear-shaped, but this was an unforgiving dress for women with a larger bottom. Once I was zipped into it, the sequin outer layer was about 2 inches higher than the underslip, and the top was very, very loose. And I'm a D-cup! Looks like a fine dress for a different body shape. Just not for mine!

Stylist knows best
I didn't know what accessory to pair with my dress, and I didn't want to spend a lot. So I left it up to the RTR stylists. I was so pleased with the Slate & Willow Wildflower Necklace, and got many compliments on it. Much more of a statement than I'm used to wearing, but that's the fun of RTR - you can wear what you don't normally.

Statement necklace got tons of compliments
Everyone commented on my adorable and unusual necklace. They also couldn't believe you could rent it! I did a stylist's pick, cause I was going cross-eyed browsing through all the accessories, so I though "why not let someone else decided?" I'm glad I did, cause I got a great deal on this necklace, which I thought was a perfect compliment to my lace teal dress. It livened things, as my dress was pretty conservative. Not as heavy as I was expecting either, and comfortable to wear until the vey end of the evening. I never wear jewelry, so the fact it took 6 hours to be tired of wearing it is impressive!

Classy but still party-ready
Great dress for many occasions! Wore this to the opening night of the film festival that I work at. The dress was just a smidge bluer than I was expecting, but I was happily surprised to find it had pockets, which I carried my wallet and phone in all night. Fit was nice, although I felt it lacked definition in the waist, so I added a gold belt. Super comfortable all night. Very high quality built-in slip that didn't bunch or ride up. Dancing in it was no problem. I was also happy to notice at the end of the night that the lace never caught on anything, including my jewelry or my date's clothes. My only caveat would be that the sleeve hit exactly at the elbow, which made the lace edge fold over and wrinkle. I wish the sleeve were maybe an inch shorter. Also, because of the higher neckline, sleeves, and the sturdy slip, this dress was a bit warm for a crowded summer event, but not uncomfortably hot.
