too big to hang straight
These earrings ended up being too large and drooped on my ears. Aside from that,the gold was too much to go with an antique silver necklace, i thought i might be able to make it work. So two strikes for me on this pair of earrings.

Though it's true you can't see the variety of hues against the skin, it's still a great piece.
This was a great necklace for the v neck gown I wore to the Green Ball celebrating the inauguration. It looked great and looked dressy enough for black tie without being too blingy. I originally rented the Kenneth Jay Lane Deep Blue Drop Earrings to go with, but the gold on the earrings didn't work with the necklace and they were a little much with such a statement necklace. I opted for small square black stone/silver earring. It was plenty. I shopped around after finding this online and tried to find something similar and really didn't find ANYTHING that looked at nice.
