Rented this for a spring baptism. It can be dressed up for a more casual wedding too, as the material is dressy. It fits true to size and hides any small tummy or extra leg weight! It is a perfect length (most Lily dresses are too short for me!). My favorite part was the ruffles at the arms to distract the eye from my not-so-ripped arms!! I'm a HUGE fan of this dress! Enjoy!

I think it fit a little large, as the 8 would have been better on me. It did cover the slight tummy I have these days. My husband absolutely loved it and said so several times! That being said, I don't know why (perhaps because it was a little big), but I felt like it was a little frumpy on me. It may have just been looking down and seeing all the ruffles (especially the one right at the stomach). But I got a lot of compliments and it was extremely comfortable and fun to wear!

Perfection. Wore to a black-tie optional wedding in NYC. So many compliments -- one girl actually said I was best dressed after the bride! I was able to wear a normal bra (since I could push down the back a little and it was navy blue). I loved it with the necklace too!! So classy.

I ordered the 12 and backup 10, but the 12 wasn't available to ship. I believe the 12 would have fit perfectly. The 10 zipped but was a tad tight. I may have just sucked it up (literally), but the pleats of the dress at the stomach made me look pregnant. Since I'm just trying to get down from pregnancy weight, I did not want that! And I don't really have a big tummy anymore. I just wanted to note that if you're thinking of ordering a size smaller -- I'd recommend going up for your backup instead. It's a beautiful dress in person, though, with a very unique texture! I wish I could have worn it, but I did love my backup (Theia Blue Gradient - size 10).

I am not down to goal weight yet and thought I needed a 12, but I wore a 10 in this dress. For comparison, the size 10 ML Citrus Sorbet was a tad too small (but doable if needed); this was overnighted as a backup. I was thrilled! I wore it to my daughter's christening and outdoor party in April. It is lined with a thin petticoat underneath to give the bottom a poof. It is great for pear shapes -- cinches at the waist and flares. Everyone thought I had lost more weight than I had! Bonus! I'm 5'6" and it hit me at the knee. The front was a high neck but the back scooped low -- I could wear a regular bra, but the straps showed a bit in the back since the bra clips on the dress were broken. It goes right to the shoulders so there is no boob-to-underarm fat shown. There is a slight shimmer to the silver color, and the blue is beautiful! Rent it!!

I absolutely loved this dress! I wore it for a NY Rangers charity event, and I got a ton of compliments. It was the perfect mix of short cocktail fun and classy sophistication. The red is an awesome bright color and really stands out. I guess it's a bit small on top (I fit into a 6 in my back-up Halston confetti dot dress), but it wasn't terribly small. I was concerned because they didn't have a 10 available, but no need! This dress is perfect for pear shapes -- I'm a 6/8 on top and a 10/12 on bottom. It felt a tad short without tights (especially since it's so flowy) -- I liked it with black tights, but it was better with neude for me. Pairing with large earrings made the outfit. RENT THIS DRESS! :) If you are between sizes, as most women are, go with the higher one.
