Fun and flirty!
The fit ran true-to-size. I'm usually between a 0 and a 2 and the two was just right for me on this one. I love the flair at the hip, but if you're short, this dress falls a little longer than it does on the model. On the up side, no bra! Definitely would recommend for a summer or spring formal event!

Fun but formal!
I wore this to a formal 25th anniversary celebration in the summer. It was formal, but fun enough that I didn't take myself too seriously. I got tons of compliments on the dress. It's a middle-of-the-road kind of dress. Not too casual, not too stuffy. I liked the heavy fabric!

Thick, heavy fabric is perfect for hiding rolls and pudge. Makes everything look tapered and slim. No bra needed. Definitely would rent again (and did)!

Great fit and compliments all night long!
This dress was perfect for the gala I attended. I ordered the 2R with the 4R as my backup, and the 2 was perfect. I wore a backless bra with the dress, but depending on your shape and comfort, you can also wear it without a bra. You can't really tell in the picture with the model, but the color of the shoulder straps is darker than the chest area - I didn't think it detracted from the effect, though. I got a ton of compliments throughout the entire event, and I didn't want to take it off (:
