I wore this dress to an October wedding. The color of the dress was very vibrant. The quality of the dress was great too, however, I expected since the material was thick it'd hide any "trouble" spots, but it did the opposite! I'd still recommend this dress and think it'd be perfect for any event, party, wedding, etc.

I wore this dress to a rehearsal dinner and received many compliments. The dress itself is stylish, comfortable and very feminine. Both the 4 and 6 fit pretty much the same, but there was a little bit of extra room in the 6 so I went with that. This dress would be perfect for any occasion: party, wedding, rehearsal dinner, church function, etc as it's easily to dress up and down.

Like many other reviewers have noted, this dress runs small. No matter what size your chest is, I would advise you size up one size and then get a back up in two sizes bigger. I normally wear a size 4 and I could not get this dress zipped up for the life of me. I didn't even wear a bra! I had ordered the size 6 for my backup size, but RTR contacted me the day my order was going to ship to notify me that the size 6 had been damaged so badly by the previous renter that it had to be discontinued. I was really bummed, however, thanks to RTR's awesome customer service, they sent me a second style in two sizes for FREE. Huge thanks to RTR! Back to the dress - The color is gorgeous - very vibrant and I imagine it photographs well... just keep the sizing in mind.

I got this as my backup dress for a formal affair. Unfortunately, I didn't think it was appropriate for the event as it's very form fitting so I didn't end up wearing it. However, this dress is really pretty and the color is gorgeous. I love the style (body con), and it really hides all your flaws since the fabric is so thick! But like I said, I didn't think it was appropriate (or I didn't feel appropriate) wearing it to the event I was attending. It fit great, I got a size S and I'm usually a size 4 in dresses. I would definitely rent this (or any Herve) again for possibly a night out on the town, party, or a fancy date.

This dress runs large. I usually wear a size 4, but ended up wearing the size 2. This is definitely a problem I did not mind, nor I doubt anyone else will! I would order a size smaller than your normal size as your back up if you decide to rent this dress. I loved how this dress was very trendy (lace) but also conservative and tasteful. I wore this to a work holiday party and received many compliments and felt beautiful yet comfortable all night.

I rented this dress to wear for New Years Eve festivities and it was perfect! Like other reviewers have said, the color is darker than it appears in the picture on RTR's website. I actually prefer the darker color. The fit was fine, but the dress is really short and I'm not even that tall. I had to wear spanx underneath my dress because I was afraid if I bent over, you'd see everything :/ I also couldn't wear a bra because you could see the sides of it, but the lining in the dress makes it okay to not wear one. Thanks for another great rental RTR!

I rented this dress for a formal event. I ordered my normal dress size (4) and took advantage of the free second size and got a 2. The 2 fit perfectly, however, the button in the back was missing and I didn't have enough time before my event to go to get another one put on. I was very disappointed that this wasn't caught before the dress was mailed to me. I made do with the 4 although it was really loose in the chest area and I had to make sure I wasn't exposed occasionally throughout the night. I'm 5'5 and was able to wear 2 inch heels and have the dress fall perfectly. The train is long and without a doubt your date WILL step on it. Make sure they walk in front of you the entire time! I wore black shoes and a black clutch. To sum it up - beautiful, beautiful dress! I received compliments all night and highly recommend this dress to anyone attending a formal event in the near future!
