This dress was perfect for a gala! The neckline is super flattering and the main part of the dress is slimming (although I wore spanx anyway). I'm 5'8" and didn't wear very tall heels (around 2.5inches) and the 6L was the perfect length. The only downsides, minor ones at that, were the straps were near the back of the sleeves and would easily poke out and the zipper is a little hard to pull up with all the lace around it. Otherwise, it's a great dress and I highly recommend it.

I actually didn't like this dress at all first, primarily because I'm not used to wearing long sleeved dresses. After all else had failed, I resolved to wear this one anyway and it worked out well. I received many compliments throughout the night! I tried to find a tighter slip for underneath as I didn't get this one in a backup size, but I couldn't find one that had the low v-neck so I ended up wearing what I had.

Recently bought some shiny Louboutins and wanted a dress to go with it for a date night. As the other reviewers mentioned the fabric is really thick making the trumpet part at the bottom a little Judy Jetson-like. It's pretty snug in the waist do despite the thick fabric I chose to wear it with some spanks. Overall, worked out well for a day night but wasn't my favorite dress.

As mentioned in other reviews, it definitely runs on the short side. I felt that the bust area was pretty tight too and had to wear a padded bra to avoid looking completely flat chested. Overall, loved the dress and received multiple compliments throughout the night. Should've taken a better picture to show the dress.

I love to rent Herves from RTR and have rented 6 or so and this is definitely my favorite. Wore it for a NYE party with some glittery Jimmy Choos and I definitely received countless compliments. The colors are so pretty and the picture doesn't do it justice.

Got this dress as a backup for another Herve and was able to wear it for my best friend's birthday. Ended up being a lot cuter than I thought, and has the great fit of all of Herve's dresses. Received many compliments. In hindsight, should've paired it with a necklace!

I rented a similar dress in a different color for my 30th birthday and decided to get this blue one for my 32nd. As expected, it didn't disappoint as the cut of the dress is very flattering and pretty. Love Herves and will continue to rent them from RTR!

Initially thought the color was a bit muted but with the right accessories, I ended up really liking this dress overall. It has a very flattering shape from the sweetheart neckline and the bone-in frame. My only complaint was that the pleats tended to get messed up in the back after sitting, but I think that's unavoidable and bound to happen to any dress with pleats.
