Could be worn for almost every occasion. I do feel the material blows up easy on a windy day. I wish there was a weighted component to the skirt. Overall I really loved. I used it for a parent teacher conference with Navy blue 2 inch heels and then for a dinner evening out with navy blue pumps. Both times it was the perfect dress.
