Sweet dress

Very sweet dress. Surprisingly unforgiving, though. The fabric is lighter than it looks so it shows any weight underneath.

Delicate and feminine, still conservative and unique

I wore this to an evening wedding with no specified dress code. It ended up being perfect for both the religious ceremony and the reception's dance floor. I felt perfectly dressed even with other guests who erred more formal (long dresses) and others who went more casual (party dresses and converse sneakers). The fabric is delicate-- don't plan on doing the YMCA (the sleeves were not "tight" for me as other renters mentioned, but they were a little motion restrictive at the shoulder); I still managed to have a great time dancing without any fear of harming the dress. It's not as green as it looks in pictures: the lace thread is gold and, over the teal overlay it photographs green. I was able to wear a nude bra (with straps) without it being visble (but my hair was also down in the back where it might have been vaguely noticable otherwise). Spanx might be helpful at the tummy as it is straight with little give and curves will pull the fabric tight.

Pretty but difficult fit

I wore this for a friend's October rehearsal and dinner. It was a gorgeous color and beautiful details but a funky fit. Definitely needed a belt. The neckline is very long: although it's a turtleneck style, the fabric between the actual neck and the bosom was way too long to where it meets the arms. I tried a regular bra, strapless, and a stick-on NuBra and all were visible at the underarm because the neck/chest was so long. I ended up wearing the XS (I'm normally a 2) and had to put a cardigan over it to hide the bra. I would recommend only if you can get away with no bra, and definitely size down.

This was my backup but it held its own!

I had rented this dress as a backup and ended up needing it because of a faulty hem on the original dress. I ended up being much more comfortable- despite the cut-out back, it's an easy dress to move in- dancing and running between photo booths and the bar at my friend's wedding. Definitely requires a backless bra, but the close fit of the dress hold everything in place.

Loved the dress but had to wear the wrong size

I got SO many compliments on this dress. It was comfortable, lightweight, and the fabric was an excellent quality which skimmed over my curves nicely. However, I got the 2 and the 4 and had to wear the larger size even though the 2 fit better because the 2 had an uneven hemline which showed the sewn-in slip. The upside is that the shape of the dress slips flatteringly over the wearer and the larger dress was still lovely! This is a great option for anyone who wants to hide any mid-section imperfections or is worried about selecting a size.
