The dress has a stretch material around the rib cage. It has a lot of give. I am 34 DD and was able to fit into an extra small. If shoot straight on and you are more endowed, it can make you look larger. Overall, I loved it and was great to wear. Not a heavy material, easy to move in and was really happy with the length (5'7" and I'm not wearing heels)

Loved this look for a black tie optional wedding. I'm 5'6" and with 3" the 2L was a bit too long. The material was thick enough not to be see through and felt great on.
