This dress would be awesome for an 80s party! Sizes 4 and 6 were too tight/thin fabric so not flattering on me. If size 8 had been available it probably would have worked.

Solid dress. Rented this as my back-up for a derby party and wore the other dress so didn't end up using this one. Wish I had had another event to attend in my rental window as I liked this dress! Thick, canvas-like material. Would have needed a convertible or strapless bra given the narrow neckline. The 4 and the 6 both fit but I would have gone with the 6 for the extra inch in length and more room in the hips.

Great party dress. Wore it to a derby party. Thick, almost sponge-like/mesh-like material was comfy. I'm 5'10", 140 pounds with broad shoulders. Size 4 and 6 fit almost the same but went with the 6 as it was a little more roomy. The bottom of the dress hit me at mid-thigh. The shorter length worked well given the slight balloon of the skirt. Skinny straps and no hidden strap keepers so recommend wearing a strapless bra. I added a skinny black belt at the waist. Would rent this one again.
