A crop flattering for larger busts!
Most crops are ridiculous on me. My small band/large cup setup isn’t often the right proportions to pull off a crop without it rising right over my boobs. In a fit of desperation (and no clean tops), I paired this with black jeans and a black tank layered under the sweater. It worked! The layer tank also kept me from getting super itchy from the fairly scratchy fabric too. Pleasantly surprised - might grab this again in the future!

I’m reliably a 12 in most Badgley Mishka dresses, but barely squeezed into a 16 with shapewear on this one. Runs super small with no give. I don’t have any great pics - attesting to how I felt in it - but was perfect for a glamping themed gala where folks were dressed up with outdoorsy accessories. (Peep my hiking boots instead of heels!) The chest detail is gorgeous, but adds so much weight to the top half of the outfit. Not terribly flattering for larger chests. I toned it down with a jacket, and wouldn’t have worn without something on my arms to counteract. Not something I’ll rent again, it glad I had a chance to try it.

Perfect for travel

This was an unexpected win! Very comfortable for work and running around to meetings - easily dressed up with a blazer and nicer flats or heels. Be warned that it has about 7 buttons to get out - so there's no such thing as a quick bathroom break in this jumpsuit!

Fabulous morning event dress
I hosted a work event in this, and it was super easy to move around with just the right amount of formality and charm for an early morning social event! Fabric is delightfully intricate with enough weight to help it hang perfectly. Hem hit just below the knee on me, which gave the perfect length when sitting.

Wore this for a work event where I wanted to look cute but still move quickly & have pockets. The peplum style is SO forgiving with my post-baby pandemic bod - it hugged my curves in all the good spots and the rest was cute and flouncy! I was a little worried about how snug this was, and ditched my shapewear in favor of having less layers. It was the best option - the fabric has a little give to it (wouldn’t call it stretchy) and it felt comfy within 15 min of putting it on. Got so many compliments I debated just buying it!

Comfy and bright - with just enough flair in the ruffle!
My postpartum/post-pandemic bod was super grateful for the weight and stretch of this fabric. It's quite forgiving, even if you're not the shape you thought you were! Shapewear underneath is probably a requirement if you don't want to see lines peeking out. The ruffle also hides a decently tall (mid-thigh on me) slit, so it's easy to walk in without taking tiny steps. I'm 5'8" and wore the regular length with ballet flats - barely swept the ground for a perfect length.

Cute holiday dress
I didn't end up wearing this, because my husband and I were both too ill to attend his company's holiday party, but it fit and would've worked. Length was okay (I'm 5'8") for cocktail attire, but the empire waist made my 32w belly look enormous. I would've definitely had a hand scooped under for all photos! The neckline is flattering without being difficult. Tiny bra clasps hold the slit shut, and it worked with my def-not-cute nursing bras.

Cute Baby Shower dress
Rented this for a co-ed shower in the Midwest, in December. The sweater knit is super thin -- would recommend adding a jacket. I wore the backup L (instead of M) because the ribbing looked better on the larger size. There's plenty of stretch, but the pattern doesn't really account for chest or bump, so it looks like a regular dress stretched over a pregnant belly. 30w and hella bloated in this pic - but the dress was comfy enough to wear all afternoon!

Cute, casual and runs super large
I picked this as a backup, hoping for the best with few photos of it. The dress runs super large. There isn't a lot of shape to it, so size down at least one size. I usually wear an 8, which was so large in the arms that one of my boobs would've actually popped out. The 6 fit better, but I think a 4 would've been the right amount of skimming material without being tight. It drapes from shoulders down, so most of the fit is in the chest. The length was good. At 5'8" with flats it just skimmed the floor. Overall, I didn't wear this because the fabric felt too casual for a black tie optional gala, even with a Havana/Miami theme. It's super lightweight without being sheer - would be a great vacation or summer wedding dress!

Fabulous design and fit like a glove!
I've known for a while that Badgley Mischka dresses fit me perfectly, but this one knocked it out of the park! It was a backup to my backup, and I was super nervous about how it would work for my event - an annual gala for a large arts organization. The fabric was heavy enough to drape nicely (shout-out to the beautiful decorative seaming on the waist!) but not too hot with a skinny strap shoulder and the peek that comes up to knee-ish level. Def not your Grandma's curtains - the fabric is a maroon and gold layering of both semi sheer and solid sections. It breathes really well. (And our event saw 80' temps ahead of an evening start!) I'm 5'8" and wore a regular length, so I could still move quickly while working the event. It swept just above the floor in flats and still looked long with a 1.5" heel. Anything higher would need a long length. Also if you have prominent collarbones and sculpted arms, this dress does them a million favors! Wholeheartedly recommended for my fellow womxn that can lift heavy and dress it up!

classic fit, intriguing design, not too sparkly, and lots of compliments!
Classic fit, tailored waist, and perfect length! It hits floor length exactly at 5'8". I wore it with black flats, since I was working a formal gala. This was actually my backup dress, but it worked out much better than the black floor-length I'd chosen originally! The sequins don't sparkle, but rather shimmer under ballroom uplighting. I work for a large arts org, so it was the perfect working dress to look both formal and artistic!

This hairpiece was gorgeous for my wedding! Simple, yet elegant.
The colors and weight were great. The hairpiece paired excellently with my gold/pearl earrings, gold/emerald bracelet, and my gold/sapphire engagement ring. A word of warning to future brides - make sure you bobby pin it in place! In a rush to get in my dress, we pinned it into my hair but didn't secure it with a second bobby pin. It fell straight out as soon as my new husband dipped me during a kiss during photos. Thankfully, a BHLDN-stylist friend was quickly able to re-pin it without messing up my hair, in time for dances! Absolutely gorgeous piece and I'd rent it again in a heartbeat!

Cute colors without being too flashy! The pink is really noticeable in person - you can't quite tell from the model photos, but it's entirely pink under the gold circles and has a pink lining. The fit was bigger than I expected for a Lily Pulitzer - I'm exactly a Lily size 8, so I expected a bit of extra room in a 10, but there is a bit of stretch to this fabric and I could've sized down. (Alas, the 8 was popular, and already rented when I needed it!)

Cute dress, heavier fabric.
This dress was actually my backup, since my first choice didn't have a backup size available. It was cute for a short rehearsal dinner, but I wouldn't have worn it to the wedding. The fabric is much heavier than it looks. My measurements are exactly the same as a Lily Pulitzer size 8, but this was (surprisingly) snugly fitted.
