Ehh...
This dress was borderline matronly but also could have been cute with the right accessories. It literally fit me like a glove, but unfortunately that meant I couldn't wear it. The way that the back Zipper was designed (tiny with no grip) I could not reach my arm around my back to meet it the center of my shoulder blades and pull it all the way up to the top. I know that sounds silly but you'll understand when you rent it if you choose a size that's fitted on your top half. I literally could not zip this dress all the way and let my husband not being home it wasn't an option to leave the house undone. The dress also has no give and has a gusset in the waist, so pulling it over my head already zipped was not an option either. I had visions of not being able to get back out of it either. LOL. I sent it back unworn.

Easy summer dress
I loved the print on this dress and the high low was good for someone on the shorter side. It is essentially made it a maxi dress for me. I will say however, that I can't see anyone wearing this dress alone without some sort of bralette underneath. There are no darts in the bust, so it's really wide at the top part of your chest and sort of sticks out on the sides of your armpit holes so it would be pretty revealing regardless of your bust size. That didn't bother me too much, so I just threw a black one on and when I'm on my way.

honestly, this dress is made for ladies with a B cup or less.. regardless of the dress size. the band at the top is not darted, and is intended to sit above your chest, however the straps are long, so in order to fit that, it needed to be pulled down, which was impossible with my girls (36C). I literally laughed out loud at how bad it looked. I'm curvy, I should have known better....

super cute for cold weather
This is a great layering piece. I agree with other reviewers that it runs short in the torso. I have ordered this twice in both medium and large sizes. I like the medium for fit and arm length.. but I preferred where the peplum hit my waist in the large. I'm only 5'2" so the large sleeves were super long and needed to be rolled... that didn't look bad, but just something to consider. This is best with high wasted jeans.

Conservative girl's sexy dress
This dress is cute and has some "edge" to it for sure.. but the high neck means little to no cleveage and makes it appropriate for a work function. This is a good day to night piece, especially in cold weather locations. Would look great with boots and opaque tights, or dressed up with heels and a leather jacket. I didn't wear it only because we ended up with a major heatwave and decided to trade it in for something more appropriate for the California fall weather... I will probably re-order for a specific event in the future.

The most compliments I've ever received from a RTR dress
The Good: The fabric is thick and stretchy so it holds really well and does not wrinkle. I packed this for a trip and it was perfect for the occasion. The ties on the arm are adjustable so you can loosen them to drop lower on the arm as I did or tie them tighter if you prefer to wear them on your shoulders. The disclaimer: I'm short (5'2") so the dress on me was tea length. For a wedding at night, it was perfect.. but the longer length for a day dress might pose a problem for other shorties if you plan to use it for a more casual setting. The Bad: it has boning built which holds the shape beautifully, but unfortunately it was popping thru the inside of the dress so it was poking me all night long and became super uncomfortable. If I had owned the dress, I would have either added fabrid to re-seal the top and bottom of the boning to secure it in place, or removed it all together... Aws more people rent this.. its going to get worse with wear... spanx that were high wasted saved me the night I wore it!!

Perfect day dress
Love most everything from Rebecca Taylor. I have been a Rent the Runway subscriber for almost a year now and if it wasn't for the Rebecca Taylor dresses I'm not sure I would continue. I know if I am renting these that they can fit my body perfectly 90% of the time. This one was no exception, it's easy easy and a bit more sophisticated than your standard sundress. You can dress it up or wear it with Flats in the daytime. Another winner!

not for me
There are good and bad things about this dress. I'm not a huge fan of my knees, but being only 5'2" I was hoping that this was going to be a bit longer in the from and just skim them. The back is really awesome, and the fabric is beautiful, but it runs really tight in the bust, and is very short, even on me at my height. I think this would look best on a tall thin gal with a small chest... the front will be a mini and be all about showing your legs...

I generally wear a medium or 10 because I have a 36 c bust but this ran huge the prints cute but was shapeless and l=not flattering. I Would consider ordering it again in a small or xs and still think I could squeeze in my boobs... then it might be a bit more flattering in the body as well... size down ladies!

just ok.
I rented this as an option for my Bridal shower. They didn't have my size so I went up. The fabric is thicker, like scuba material, and also has a little give so a tighter fit would most likely have been better. AS it was it just sort of hung there, and made me feel wider than I actual was. I think i could have sized down 2 sizes for a skin tight fit up top and it would have added to the shape nicely since the fabric has stretch.

very small in the chest
I loved this dress, and I really wanted to wear it, but unfortunately it was way to small in the bust. The fit was great in the waist and length, but this was designed for ladies with a smaller chest for sure. Since I have the unlimited membership, I might try it again in a 10, but I have a feeling that it would long look looser everywhere else, and still be too tight up top.

Great dress, lot of cleavage...
I rented this as an option for my Bridal shower. It's beautiful and fits true to size. I'm only 5'2' and the shoulder straps could have been about an inch shorter for a perfect fit. IT would have been manageable, but I think with the open front and back, some double sided tape would have made me feel more secure...Ultimately, I decided on something else for that day because it was a little to low cut for a daytime event in my opinion. The lace is lovely, and would be a great option as a dress to wear as a wedding guest in the future.

Loved it
Fit exactly as described by other users. I knew it would be big in the bust based on their views, and it was but it was manageable because it has two pieces of metal in the v-groove of the bus line to hold it up and in place. There's definitely no give in the waistline, so be wary if you have a large rib cage. Overall, it was very flattering and I would definitely rent it again on another occasion.

Great dress
This dress is a no-brainer. It's made from a nice silky fabric so if you're wearing it to a simple cocktail reception bridal shower semi aurun formal event it's perfect for you. It has an elastic waist and an a-line so needless to say it's a great fit for all body types. The print is really pretty and I felt very cute and feminine wearing it. I will definitely order this one again once it warms up.

Very comfy
I've ordered this dress twice now in a size 6 and also a 10 because both times the 8th was sold out. I would say that the cut on both sizes from the waist down was identical and didn't change at all. The only difference was that the 6 was significantly tighter across the chest. I was able to wear it both ways, but I would say it runs a bit large and you should size down if you want to show any sort of shape to your figure as the skirt part is really quite large.

Obsessed with this dress
After 2 failed attempts at unlimited subscription items that went straight back unworn for bad fit, this dress finally hit the nail on the head. Its cut, comfortable and a really vibrant pattern. I have worn it twice now, and would most likely buy it, or rent again in the future. The bust is a tiny bit tight for me, but not noticeable. The fabric has no stretch, but lays well, and is fully lined. It hits me at the knee since I'm shorter, but doesn't look too long, it's just right for a work or afternoon with sandles kind of day.

Wish it fit!!
I loved this dress, but tried it on, and sent it right back. It fit everywhere but the bust. I sized up based on the feedback that it was smaller in the chest, but should have heeded the warning that it really is meant for small busted women. I really think if you are more than a small C you will feel pretty exposed up top... unless that is what you are going for, and in that case, order away!

cute, but way too short.
Ordered it for my Unlimited subscription, never wore, and returned it. It was strangely large, and way too short at the same time, and I'm only 5'2". I now understand why the girls in all the photos wear it with flat shoes. There was no way I could raise my arms or bend over without fully exposing my butt. Its such a shame because its adorable in person. I think for a thinner gal with no junk in the trunk it would be fine, but my shape pushed it out too far in the back, and left to little to drop.
