Rented for a christening in September. It is dark but the flowers lend it a summer-to-fall. Looked a little formal but I was able to dress it down with some pretty sandals. Got a ton of compliments. I am petite (5'1") so it fell mid-shin but length was fine nonetheless. Please note that the waist does NOT taper which was a bit of a surprise to me.

Absolutely loved this dress! I'm normally between a 2 and a 4, the 2R fit perfect. The 4 also fit, but it was not as form fitting in the rib area, which made it look a bit boxy. The top has a built in bra, so I was able to go bra-less (and it looked better because you could see bra lines through the fabric) -- same with undies -- make sure you have the correct fit or lines will show through with this fabric! If you're short, you'll definitely need the temporary hem tape. I'm 5'1", wore 5 inch platform heels, and dress was still too long. Had get it "hemmed" up about 1.5 inches. Tip with the hem tape: the liner is not attached to the outer layer, so both layers needed to be hemmed. The outer layer is thick and heavy fabric, so I ended up using the whole box of strips for a good look and hold. Tape held up all evening. This was my first purchase with RTR and it was a very smooth and easy process.
