Size down!
This is such an elegant staple but ONLY if you get the right size. I'm 5'2 and a medium swallowed me- I looked like a homeless potato. When I traded it in for a small, it magically became the perfect fall/winter coat that complemented every outfit. I recommend, but it might take you a couple tries to get the right size. When in doubt, go down one size!

Super cute and classy, but short girls beware!
The skirt on this dress is perfection! I loved the top too, but the fit was off for me. I'm about 5'2" and hourglass, and everything fit except for the length of the top. The zipper on the side made it easy to get the dress on and off, but also bunched up due to lack of torso length. Just something to keep in mind!

Fun, flattering and pretty- even on short girls!
Very comfortable fit- hit me about halfway between my knee and ankle. If I were to purchase this (which I'm strongly considering) I'd probably have it hemmed, but I still think it looks great as is. Really easy to dress up (I threw on a silk blouse and nude heels with it) for work, but also looked great with a tight fitting white long sleeve shirt AND a distressed black band shirt. Super versatile and great for Fall- can't recommend enough.
