flattering, unnecessary zipper
I mostly loved this dress. Its very comfortable and flattering - there are hook and eye closures to keep the plunging neckline secure. I think the length really depends on your body type/height: I'm short with a slightly longer torso - the hem is a completely appropriate length for me. I'd even have preferred it to be shorter. There is a completely unnecessary zipper on the bodice - the dress is stretchy, so you don't need it and the zipper gives a very weird bulk. The drape of the bodice covered this up, but it's so weird (maybe its necessary if you have an extreme hourglass and size down for a very tight fit, but I doubt it). There are also zippers on the sleeves, which I appreciated since they were somewhat long on me (I didn't have the bunch them up around my wrists).

great color and warm. fit is a bit boxier than I expected, material is sort of (but not unbearably) itchy.

Poor fit
I was into the sleeves but so small. It's hard to know if sizing up would help with the fit - the skirt was...bulky? but also tight? just off overall. I've rented other things from this brand and the sizing is usually accurate. Not here.

Eh, weird fit
This was weirdly bulky in the middle, but tight in the arms and from the hips down. You can adjust the zips on the sides to give it more of an overall boxy (vs inverted triangle) shape, but the torso is really where this coat fails. I wore a sweater underneath & the arms felt like they were bunched so tightly they would bruise, but there was so much space around my bust/stomach that I felt like this coast had a draft when zipped up. Someone's grandma is telling me I'll catch a cold.

Looked good on me (but also, sweat)
As others have noted, the seams on the shoulders/arms are a bit odd - you definitely feel like they're twisting & they don't sit at the center of your shoulders/arms. I found it looked good with the ruffles draped back or forward. My only complaint was the material. I was sweating...a lot. To the point where I decided I'd developed an excessive-sweating problem and nearly called my doctor-friend to tell me if that was possible and if I was having a heart attack (okay, maybe I have anxiety).

It was fine
loved this in theory. in practice it was fine. I have somewhat broad shoulders for my frame and it made this top twist a bit so that I often looked like I was hunching forward? comfortable and may have been better if I weren't trying to wear it alone (e.g. over a dress) - I think a part of the hunched look came from making sure my bra wasn't showing.

Too big
I'll rent these again in a smaller size - the wait was far too big for me. I typically wear a US 2/25 but this size 2 was much to large for me, but I probably could have gotten by with a belt had there been loops (there aren't). These hit my right at the ankle bone (I'd guess at 27" inseam) and did not look like they "should" have been cropped. I'm bow-legged and sometimes side stripes wrap oddly, but these looked great and elongated my legs.

Listed size conversions are off - pay attention to Fr sizing not US listed conversions
This coat probably looks amazing if you get the right size. However, the listed conversions are not helpful. I knew this (I'm usually a US 2, typically wear Fr 34), but assumed RTR had adjusted based on typical fit etc. I was wrong. The smallest size available is equivalent to a US 4 (based on the Maryling website). So if you are smaller than a US 4, the smallest size will not fit. Size down. Bummed this apparently doesn't come in smaller sizes, I can tell I'd have loved it if I got in my typical 0/2 range.

Loved
Great bag - its a perfect size (fits a book, 12oz water bottle, phone, wallet, earbuds, and lipgloss etc.) The chain is not the most comfortable to carry but it looks beautiful and is very sturdy. Will rent again.

Bulky
This did not work on my frame at all. The neckline is nice but the sleeves were excessively ballooned and this was not close to a mini-dress on me (not surprised by this last bit). I looked like a 30 year old woman trying to pass herself off as an eight-year-old playing an American girl doll. Not good. Material was lovely though and construction was on point, it was just deeply unflattering.

It was fine
It was fine - print is fun and eye-catching print; fit is so-so. The crop hit as a weird spot for me - would not stay tucked into high waisted pants and kept rolling up. The ruching also did not stay put, so it never quite achieved a sweetheart look and became almost frumpy at times.
