The fabric is thick, but not bulky. It was perfect for a night out in San Francisco (usually ~50 degrees fahrenheit), since it was warm enough on its own such that I didn't have to wear a jacket. Like other reviewers have said, it's short, but not short enough to cause you to worry about it all night. I was able to tear it up on the dance floor just fine without worrying about flashing anyone. Check out the second photo of my bf holding me to see the dress' coverage when put to the test haha

This dress definitely stood out in a good way at my company's holiday party. The color is beautiful, and the cut-outs show off just the right amount of skin. Tips: USE FASHION TAPE. I didn't wear a bra and didn't use fashion tape and felt a little self conscious at times. A little fashion tape to hold down the top of the first cut-outs would have kept me care-free all night.

I wore this dress for my college graduation, and it looked really nice. However, the thin straps were tight (regardless of the dress size) and put pressure on my collarbone. It didn't hurt to the point at which I would consider the dress unwearable, but it definitely wasn't as comfortable as a lot of other dresses.
