This dress is so cute and well made. I wish I would've listened to my gut instead of the reviews and ordered my regular size, 8. But it still fit cute, I just wish I would've had a little more room in the tummy area (my problem spot). I think some reviewers wanted it to fit a little closer to the body. I was looking for something more flowy. Love the pockets. I got so many compliments. It's just a striking and beautiful dress! The back of the dress is so lovely. I am 5'8" and I thought the length was good. A bit short from what I am used to, but hey, it's my birthday! If you want it a bit flowy, like it's supposed to fit, order your true size. If you want it hugging your body more, order a size down. Either way, order it!!!

I got this adorable dress for my company's Christmas party, which happened to also fall on my husband's and my 20th anniversary. (Isn't he a cutie?) The dress was so perfect! It's very twirly and girly. It was super comfortable. I am pretty tall, so it was quite short, but I didn't mind. I was able to wear normal undergarments (no Spanx, yay!), and because the top layer is so flowy, I ate to my heart's content. The bottom layer is solid silver sequins. None of them rubbed or anything lie that. It was a bit stretchy too, so very easy to wear. I have rented three dresses from RTR and this one is hands down my favorite I've ever gotten. I ordered the medium (I'm 5'8" and about 155 pounds) and it fit perfectly, though I did get the backup in large. I was really surprised the medium fit so well. It's a great dress to hide a bit of a tummy, which is my problem area. I really felt like a princess all night and everyone commented on how darling this dress was!

I actually got to wear this dress for two events in the same weekend. The first event was a charity poker tournament. The dress was perfect for the occasion! It fit well and was comfy. Love the pockets! It does make me look a bit preggers because being taller, I guess it hit me in a weird spot. Plus, I have a tendency to being sway-backed when I stand. That doesn't help and is not the fault of the dress. The second thing I wore it for was Easter Sunday. I know I look like a frump next to my supermodel-esque daughters, so please don't judge based on what I look like next to them! I got lots of compliments on it and would definitely recommend the dress! I dressed it down a bit with flat sandals and turquoise jewelry. You can dress it up more if needed. Sizing was excellent. I am 5'8", about 155 lbs. and a size 8. The 8R fit perfectly, but if you want to wear heels at this height, I think it would be too short. I didn't even bother with a backup size because the 10 wasn't available. I had a backup option at home if it had not fit correctly. Get the dress! You won't regret it!

I got a lot of compliments on this dress. I am around an 8-10 in size and I should've gotten the large instead of the medium, but the large wasn't available. It still fit well; just had to wear Spanx. And I felt like I couldn't eat or drink a lot wearing it. That's okay and totally not the fault of RTR. The dress is a great quality. The reason I took one star off is because just above the side zipper was a small puckering in the material as if someone had tried to repair the seam incorrectly. Other than that, it was a great dress for this occasion.
