I read all the reviews before ordering this dress, and everyone kept saying it ran large. But I have rented other dressed in my size and they were WAY too small. Different designers, different cuts I suppose. SO I rented my usual size, and because it was fitted in the waste went a size up in my back up (I am carrying about 20lbs more than usual right now so got nervous). Well my usual size was way too big, so the back up a size larger wouldn't work either. It was DARLING just shockingly stretchy in the material. I have another event this spring, and may go back to it, and down a size then. It really was pretty, just not the material I was expecting.

It is a more casual material than I was expecting. And it is stretchy. I would say it is true to size because I don't really know what to base it off of. I am usually a size 14 in dresses and it fit fine...was a tad big...which I guess I would expect from a 0X. But the Halsten version with long sleeves was sold out. I paired it with sparkly gold peep toe Nine West heels to dress it up a bit and some funky gold jewelry. It was a for a work Holiday party so it added just enough fun, without feeling like I was over dressed.
