My daughter and I both took one look at it on, and went "no."
Way too tight through the torso/stomach and the sleeves are heavy. I ordered my usual size, but a size up probably would have been a better fit. I was glad I had a back-up option in another style.

Nice dress
Fit was true to size. Comfortable, it's a heavy fabric. The gold buttons were just enough detail. Ruching around the tummy area waist was a nice touch. I would rent this again.

I typically wear a 14. A 14 hung on me in this so I think a 12 would have been better, and quite possibly a 10 would have been fine. I liked the style and the fit. It's a heavy dress, so that's something to keep in mind as well.

Felt like a million bucks
RTR had contacted me to let me know that the previous renter had not returned the belt, and had me choose a back-up. After trying both, I loved how this made me feel so I just added my own belt. I wanted to define my waist, but the belt isn't a requirement. I wore shapewear underneath just to smooth everything out as the fabric does cling. I was able to manage the zipper by myself. I would rent this again.

I loved this and would buy it in a heartbeat. I don't think of myself being well-endowed, but my 36D chest looked almost obnoxious in this (when I was sitting). A multi-string necklace would make it more appropriate at more conservative events, but I rented it for dinner and dancing and wore chandelier earrings instead. I have a bit of a pooch from having three large babies, but this masked it well, I thought and there was plenty of room in the waist/hip area. At 5'7", I should have rented the long, but it wasn't available so I took the regular and with low heels it was fine. Bottom line - I'd rent this again and even buy it.

Perfect dress for this wedding guest.
As others have indicated, the straps are long on this dress. I have a long torso and wear a D cup bra so for some reason I wasn't expecting to have this issue. That said, it was a fun dress to wear. I felt good in it despite having not lost all my baby weight from my third child. Loved the pockets, the fabric, and the style.
